Surfing lesson in Scarborough

Decided to try surfing before I go to Australia, so at least I have an idea what to expect. So one of the girls from work Emma decided in her wisdom she would take me, Laura and Hayley surfing to Scarborough cayton bay last tuesday 22nd May 2012. Couldn't of asked for a nice day weather was lovely. There gave us wetsuit, gloves and boots as would definitely be too cold for just bikini. Also luckily their was only us four in the sea. Since I used to snowboard thought I might not be that bad, but first couldn't remember which way I used to stand on board. Then Emma kept telling me and Laura we were trying to run before we could run, ha ha... So maybe it wasn't going to be as easy as I thought. Don't think I even managed to stand on the board, think definitely need more practice. Was alright doing body surfing and washing machine. Hopefully once I get to Australia will be able to get more lessons.
