Didn't sleep well woke up 3am, then 5.30 and couldn't get back to sleep til 6 and then eventually got up just after 7. Sharon left about 7.30 and trust Ellie to cry when she left but settled fine then Ben left 8ish and she did the same things obviously just wanted them to feel guilty about leaving her. It was then time for Ellie to have breakfast her usual porridge wasn't bothered about it at first but ended up eating all but took 30minutes. We then played a little with toys and then time for her sleep whilst she was sleeping watched morning TV but confused me at first as said 8.30 but was watching on ITV +1 so was really 9.30. I also had chance to have a cup of tea and a French fancy a small sponge cake with buttercream covered in fondant icing very nice.. Ellie was only asleep about an hour once awake decided to have a walk into Knaresborough first stop Tesco to get some fruit, sushi and Pom-Bears. Then had a little look in boots UK's most popular chemist as not been in for so long and so much better than Australian ones. Was going to walk back via the river but looked might it start raining so decided against and just did a circle instead but didn't rain. On way back me and Ellie shared the Pom-Bears which is a teddy bear shaped potato snack which she seemed to enjoy and liked was giggling alot. Also seemed to bump into a few people whilst on my walk a few from hospital think some thought Ellie was mine. When back have our lunch we both had cheese and toast with our fruit which she liked seemed to eat most of it. We then had a play in her ball pool and her fisher price animals was showing how kangaroo hops and telling will see one in 3 months. Mum and Sue both arrived at 3.45 as Sue coming to shellac our toe nails mum went first had a few new colours. I decided to have a turquoise colour to match the same colour as my tattoo looked nice, Ben came hone and we went just missed Sharon. When back we all had jacket potato's for tea then mum and dad went to bowls I stayed in and watched film on TV got back 9ish drink wine then bed 10.30pm.

Arriving home, look after Ellie and toes
So nice after collecting luggage to walk through and see Mum, Dad and Nanna waiting for me wasn't expecting to see but nice surprise. Nanna seemed abit teary to see me and even said 'was like when I left' so was obviously happy to see me. Thought we might hit traffic on way home because of time but luckily wasn't that bad but have still got silly roadworks on M62. When dropped Nanna off even had Uncle Charles come out to see me which is very unusual, must like me.. Once home unpacked and decide what presents to give Ellie now and the rest for Christmas so she is all sorted for Christmas. Thought best have shower after travelling for so many hours then go to Sharon's for tea and Ellie so big now. Had cottage pie for tea homemade by mum very nice staying at Sharon's tonight as looking after Ellie tomorrow by 9pm was so tired so went to bed.
Flying home
Tuesday 11th June continued and plane left at 9.50pm which was on time and first flight only 13 hours. Seated at 25A of 3 seats sat next to nice girl who was first time flying long distance and going all way to Manchester. Thought would watch Les miserable first as might be quite intense and 2 and half hours long was riveting and incredibly entertaining. It was nice as could remember some of the songs from when I worked on Thomson cruise ship which made it more enjoyable. Was quite funny really as looked on the flying map and after nearly 4 hours was only just leaving Australia proves how big it is. The food wasn't the best and didn't help as ordered the same as person next to me vegetable cow mein and didn't look same but nice to get ice-cream later on. I then watched some TV series How I Met Your Mother, Modern Family and Elementary was 6 episodes but only watched 3 then thought best have a sleep. Only manged to get 2 hours sleep and missed the end of the 3rd Elementary series so watched when woke up with another one. I then watched Die Hard - A good Day To Die which is the newest one as was told good was ok but may e not my favourite Die Hard movie. Then thought best go to toilet for 1st time only been in seat nearly 11hrs and calf feeling sore it was then breakfast ate the fruit and yoghurt but left the hot meal. Also watched 'Hansel and Gretel- Witch Hunters' was nothing like the fairy tale was so so all I can say is glad didn't pay to see and luckily just to see end before turn off for landing. Got to Abu Dhabi 6.20am so 20 minutes early once gone through baggage scanner ended up going wrong direction to gate but eventually found as abit confusing. Ended up staying with the girl I was sat next to on flight and had free Wi-Fi so checked hotmail, Facebook and update blog a little. Also was nice as was free magazine and even the latest OK but by this time quite peaking so opened my pringles. Started boarding plane at 9.10 and plane was 20 minutes late leaving ended up leaving at 10.30am and could feel myself falling asleep on take off. This time seated at 20K and only 2 seats and after take off was awake and trying to watch films but been silly at first but eventually worked. Ended up watching 'Identity Thief' which was somewhat entertaining with a funny bits but not the best plot. Also the food wasn't too bad but it was pasta which you can't really go wrong with and probably as quite hungry by this point. I then watched 'Oz the Great and Powerful' which was a beautiful enchanting classic tale filled with wonderful characters is a must see. Then watched 'Jack Reacher' with Tom cruise who does no wrong is an above average crime, thriller movie. In morning came round with sandwich which wasn't the best and think only managed to get about 39 minutes sleep on 2nd flight which was 9hours. Landed 5 minutes early at 3pm and luckily didn't take long for luggage after getting off plane and going through passport probably only 30minutes.
Last day of work and fly home
Monday 10th June last day of work before I fly home for holiday can't wait, got up 9ish and enough milk for cereal so had porridge with water was ok. Then thought best go to Coles to get so e tissues in case still sniffles on plane but seems a lot better the Thai must of helped yesterday, home and catch up on Masterchef. It was then off to work and me and Debbie on same Hirt was nice only open to 18 patients and was 6 staff and one patient very happy to see me. We also arranged for a belated birthday meal when I get back for Korean BBQ which should be good at same place went to last time. Still cant believe I fly home tomorrow and luckily when finish didn't have to wait too long for Debbie which made a change. When back not really tired so had the rest of the wine and watched Mamma Mia which was very amusing. Tuesday woke up 7 but went back to sleep til 9 then breakfast and update blog, watch TV. Then I thought I best Hoover bedroom as doing inspection whilst am away but ended up hoovering g everywhere. For a run next did 4.06 miles but had to stop just after 2 miles as had awful right calf pain felt like could pop which knew unlikely but stretched out then ran rest. When back finish watching Masterchef, do washing and have shower. Then went to Rhodes food court had jacket potto and doing an offer so got free film got Kath and Kimdrella an Australian film. It is a spin-off of the TV series Kath and Kim which is definitely better than the film was not the best had so e funny bits. At 5 thought best get changed and ready for my trip home Debbie walked me to Rhodes train station got train at 5.50. Unfortunately the lift at central station not working but luckily someone at bottom of stairs who kindly carried case up to platform for me and train waiting for me. When got to airport check was quite straight forward and case only weighed 20kg which thought was good for me but could have 30k. The person at passport control not happy with me as forgot to fill in immigration card and then forgot to stamp my passport. I then got stopped by security who had to check must of thought i looked suspicious, he he obviously was fine. After that had over 2 hours to occupy time with in airport as Kat stayed may meet us but only heard once through so meet when back. Ended up looking round duty free and got Mona her lipstick she asked me to get and some of the shops but bought nothing else. Thought best have something to eat before fly as I know I hardly eat plane food but not really hungry so just had carrot and bran muffin with coffee from Mccafe then time to wait for flight.

More vivid festival and catch ups
Saturday 8th June woke up 7ish but went back to sleep til 9 and kept honking off going to gm but not happening instead watched suits and updated blog. Unfortunately my series of suits now finished so not sure what I will watch now but their is Homelands or Hart of Dixie which Nat did for me. Once Debbie up, go to DFO not sure if would be open as their busy refurbishing at the moment. Luckily it was open and go to Sheridan's first as got $25 birthday preset so might aswell buy new duvet as mine not the best. Also if you spent over $150 then got extra $30 so thought might aswell find something else so got a towel ended up saving $55. Had a look in Nine West and found some nice flat shoes but unfortunately the size 5 too big and size 4 too small never mind just not meant to be. After DFO came home and sort out travel nsurance called flight centre 1st but too busy so ended up doing it online. Also ended up remaking my bed with new duvet and felt a lot better than old one just see if warmer tonight. Then back to Rhodes so Debbie could get a fleece blanket as getting cold on a night got the blue star one then I can have when she leaves. Back home and then off to city we go, unfortunately doing track work so had to get bus o Strathfield and then train to city. Where we met Hisako at the IMAX to go watch the vivid festival but first to get food everywhere busy walked past all restaurants at Harbourside. Then decided to go back to Plate which was one of first looked at shared bruschetta with Hisako then steak, chips and wine, no pudding as none liked. After food went to watch the vivid light show with fireworks the rooftop projections are inspired by the colours, patterns and sounds of India. It also has the vivid aquatique which is water features which was very good and reminded me of the ones you see at Las Vegas. We then walked to Opera house to see the vivid light show as other two not seen it and got ice-cream from baskin robbins tried coconut but still not good as yoghurt one as Manly. Didn't get in til nearly midnight and nearly tempted to get taxi from Strathfield station then busarrived when home chill on sofa.
Sunday woke up 9 and luckily went back to sleep til 11. Just chilled in front of TV updating blog then thought I best go for my run not that I could really be bothered. But not before I did my packing and didn't actually realise how much stuff I had til I had to pack it but mainly presents. I then went for my run at 3pm managed to do 4.25 miles was hard work but glad I actually did it. It was then to go meet Lou at Circular Quay and couldn't believe how busy it was could hardly move but luckily managed to find each other. Went to Sailor Thai a place Lou had heard about and thought having so etching spicy might help with our colds, but mine slightly better today. It is housed in a heritage listed building in the Rocks and was busy when arrived so had to queue which is usually a good sign that food is good. Which we were not disappointed with and was definitely worth the wait was one of the yummiest Thai meals I have had in a while. We were seated downstairs on a long common table so not much room for privacy the fine dining is upstairs. I ended up having pork stir fry with fied egg on top was good was a little spicy but still enjoyed would definitely go again. Then to watch the Vivid festival as Lou not seen it yet but was still very busy had to push to get through and had hot chocolate was still not warm enough. Watched lights on common house which were very good and could see them whilst waiting to catch my train to Strathfield. When back to Strathfield just missed first train but only had to wit 5 minutes til next one which want bad. Home meet Debbie's older brother who's staying with us for a few nights seemed nice. I then spoke home to mum and dad on Skype but wasnt best connection only spoke for 15 minutes but get to see them Wednesday. It was then time to chill watch TV for abit and drink Wine but then I couldn't get to sleep which was no good at least now on late tomorrow at work.

Bianca's last day and nights
Monday up early as meeting Bianca for breakfast before she leaves Sydney supposed to meaty at 8.30 but Bianca running late so met at 9. Which was good so gave me time to go to Coles first to buy some things for my night shift. Decided we would go to our usual place Coffee Club since that was were we first ever went for breakfast in Rhodes. Not really sure what I fancied so ended up getting toasted banana bread and a latte, still can't believe it's Bianca's last day. It appears to off come round quick in the end so had to have a farewell picture with ine bianca acting sad, but she is hopefully coming back in January for another year. Home chill kept thinking off going for run eventually went 4ish after updating and watching 'Suits' which nat in South Africa sent me. Managed to run 9.07 miles but did have to go back on myself to do it and ran it non stop so proud as is 14.59 km which the city to surf distance. Then home cook pasta bake was good but was not homemade pasta sauce was bought one then watched Master-chef. It was then off to work and couldn't really be bothered and could see why when I got to work looked like would be busy night. Which it was as the late staff had 2 clinical reviews on patient am looking after tonight because of low blood pressure and high pulse. I had to do hourly obs all night but at least no clinical reviews and when left bp 159/64 so a lot better than when I started. So I didn't stop most if the night and had 8 patients also May very busy as had to chemo and do blood products. Supposed to go to gym this morning to go through some more calf exercises but instructor which was glad about and May gave me lift home. Straight to bed at 8.30 and slept til 14.30 which is good for me have breakfast then go for run as training plan says to go today did 6.17 mikes but legs tired when back. Have tea left over pasta bake and watch neighbours and home&away then nodding off must off had about 30 minute nap. Then to work on Tuesday night luckily didn't seem as busy when came and only had 6 patients tonight. Only thing was I still had my poorly patient which had last night and still doing hourly observations but luckily wife staying with him tonight. But I still had to do two clinical reviews overnight as low blood pressure, high pulse and low oxygen saturations unfortunately not MET call criteria yet. So I still had a busy night but at least was not as busy as Monday night and luckily my other 5 patients were ok. May gave me lift home again in morning and when got home not tired so did washing, watched episode of suits and read kindle sleep 9ish.
On Wednesday woke up 1ish but didn't get up til 3ish and once up still felt tired so just watched more episodes of suits. Debbie then came home from work then I thought I best get dressed and go collect my parcel which was my godsons presents. I then looked in cotton on kids and saw some nice clothes for Ellie jeans with stars but not her size and then to Coles for more bananas. Home and have tea Debbie out tonight with her parents so I just had noodles, veg with fried egg on top. I was going to go to a spinning class but it never happened instead I updated blog and watched TV. Then to work and at least work not as busy as last night probably because my poorly had last 2nights had MET call during day and now in ICU. Only thing is now open to 30 patients but had some empty beds and I still only had 6 patients as we had 4 staff on. But felt something missing when going into side rooms as didn't have to wear mask anymore but still wear yellow gowns. Didn't sleep on my break instead phoned home so wouldn't go to sleep to get their flights details when come here and when speaking on Skype. So at the end of the shift felt so tired and I even had a headache which was no good but May gave me lift home again. Was shower then straight to bed but didn't sleep that well woke up 11ish then went back to sleep and got up 12.30. It was then to go to the city with Debbie got train 2ish to get a few last minute things before I go home on Tuesday. First stop was Pandora and you can see what everyone getting for Christmas look Michael Kors and still had the dress I like but will wait til I come back from holidays. Then to Ugg to see if any nice boots had some dark brown suede long boots in sale but I prefer the chestnut ones. Looked in the Australian tourist gift shop for gifts for godsons but couldn't find what I wanted. It was then time for food stopped at cafe on circular quay haf a ricotta cherry pie was like New York cheesecake. We then called at Opera house to price up tickets as Debbie wants to go see a show at Opera house before she goes home. Walk back to Town hall and go to the food court under Myer not really sure what I fancied so ended up having just KFC. Got back home just after 7ish and rested on sofa before we had to go to work as both me and Debbie on nights together for a change. Once at work felt full of sniffles just hope am not getting a cold as just what you need before flying home. Work was ok but one staff got moved so only three of us for 24 patients so I had 8 patients and I had to wear mask again to go into one of side rooms. Spoke home mum at work so told dad to tell mum to look at Aldwark spa as doesn't look will have time for rockcliffe hall. When finish work had to wait for Debbie so thought would phone sister as this time next week I will be home, very exciting.. Woke up 1ish and chilled on sofa watched suits again must be getting near to the last episode not sure what I will watch when finish. Then went for run couldn't be bothered going but I knew I had to go did 3.18 miles but felt tired when back and run felt sluggish but supposedly same pace. When back went to Coles with Debbie to get a few things to take home with me like sweets which are unique to Australia. Supposed to be going out with Lou tonight but she wasn't feeling too good so postponed to meet Sunday instead and I still had sniffles. So instead we had take-away Pizza Hut our 1st take-away since moved to new place preferred the pudding a caramel cookie shot. Luckily was a good film on TV 'Green Mile' one of my favourite and Rhys now back from Japan so spoke on phone and may meet tomorrow.
Lazy day and cinema
Sunday 2nd june woke up 9 but luckily went back to sleep til 11 then got up had bacon sandwich and cup of tea just what I needed. Then shower and go to city to meet Lou and Nat to go to the cinema as miserable day so might aswell do something inside. Met Nat at event cinema on George street to get our tickets for 'The Great Gatsby' as expecting it too be busy but luckily still tickets for the 2.30 showing. But we were abit early so went to Starbucks first for coffee to keep us awake through film and to get sone nibbles 'crisps' for film. Whilst waiting for Lou to arrive saw 'Shar' from work who was also off to see the Great Gatsby what a small world. The Great Gatsby is a romantic drama film based in New anorak city in the spring of 1922 an era of loosening morals, glittering jazz, bootleg kings and sky rocketing stocks. I really enjoyed the film with lots of glamours costumes use of modern music woven into the film is good would recommend seeing but didn't like the ending but true to live. Home and chill had leftovers from yesterday with fish cakes think was even better second time round.
Bianca's last night out
Saturday 1st June and going out tonight for Bianca's last night out before she leaves Sydney. So after tea thought best get ready but still no idea where we are going and what time. As Bianca having a farewell meal first at Andrea's with Jen and her friends so didn't find out til 7ish that meeting at 9ish at the 3 Monkeys. Decided to wear my new coast sandals after doing my usual trying on 2 pairs with my black dress, as cant do wrong with black. When we left it was raining but was 1st day of winter here so thought best wear cardigan and took brolly with us. Didn't get to the 3 Wise Monkeys til 9.40 and not sure if Bianca here yet then found out she was upstairs. The 3 Wise Monkeys is supposedly a nice place to go if you want dance on the 3th floor, it's located in the heart of Sydney, close to Town Hall is a true Aussie pub. Was lively atmosphere upstairs with a live band who weren't too bad and Bianca with all Jen's friends was 8 of them. Not sure if going to be good night at first but was actually not too bad Nat and Lou didn't arrive til 23.30. Debbie and Jen left early as at work tomorrow so didn't really want too late a night. Bianca disappeared on us and ended up going somewhere else but we ended up dancing with 2 lads who were quite entertaining, Lou had some very amusing moves. Nat ended up leaving before me and Lou as thought we would be late and ended up that we were last out of the place at 4. One of the lads 'Gordon' who we were dancing with walked me to central station was still raining and stayed with me whilst I waited for my train til 4.55 he tried it on but was not interested. When in spoke to mum and dad on Skype connection not best went about 4 times must of been because of rain went to sleep 6ish.

Work only 4 days
Woke up 7.30ish not sure why when on late today, Nat from home texted and thinking of coming to work in Australia, how exciting.. Breakfast then updated blog as so behind with and caught up on breakfast news. Went to gym at 10.30 go on rower for 10mins, cross trainer 13 mins, stretches and sit ups. Thought would ask instructor about my calf pain didn't recommend taking magnesium will go though some exercises with me tomorrow. Then to Coles to get my grapes and some yoghurts, home have lunch chilli with spinach with a fried egg on top was quite good then do washing as will need gym stuff. Work ok only open to 24 patients had 3 admissions but only had 6 staff. Thursday 30th up 7.30 not sure why when didn't need to be til at least 9, so just updated blog. Gym at 10 to meet with gym instructor BJ to go through some calf exercises was fun using roller and really felt on my left calf. Then quickly to Rhodes after as need bananas and something for lunch got wraps with hummus and carrot was good used sandwich toaster for 1st time. Work not too bad still only open to 24 patients but had 3 admissions/transfers on our side handover wasn't the best but only 7 shifts to work til go on holiday.
Friday woke up 7.30 but luckily went back to sleep til 9 then get up and go for run. According to my running plan I only had to do 3 miles but managed to do 4.03 miles non stop. Work seemed nice at first but came back from tea break to a MET call as patient had low oxygen saturations and high pulse, patient ended up going to ICU. Then had a few patients with high temperatures which is just normal for our ward I handover 1st and got out early as on early tomorrow. Phoned mum on way home to say rockcliffe spa looked ghost, when home not tired so watched TV and wine bed 11ish. Saturday 1st June 1st day off winter and on a early woke up 5.30 so had time for cup of tea before leave for work. Work was ok at first and fourth day working with same nurse but then after morning tea was busy had 2 admissions from ICU and palliative. The palliative patient probably shouldn't of been moved and the the one from ICU had blocked PICC line, couldn't get to work. We had another line which wasn't working but the senior nurse got it to work so didn't think would finish on time but did. On way home went to target as wanted to get a few things nothing too exciting just chopping board, baking tray and tongs. Then home start cooking did wedges and some new dish which found in recipe book a mixed bean and tomato gratin was ok.
Tattoo at last
Woke up 7.30 looked very foggy outside so had breakfast and watched morning TV. Then thought best go for my run but couldnt go usually way as shut due to doing work on bridge but did 6.62 miles/10.6 km's very happy and no calf pain. Catch up on yesterday's biggest loser as final to fight so be nice to know what hapoens before I see the final. Time to get moving then at 12.30 to catch train to Bondi junction 1st stop Apple store to see if can do anything with old iPhone. Their tried to put it back to factory settling but unfortunately would only go back to certain point since old as hoping could swap phones since mine doesn't turn off but no luck. Then to catch bus to Bondi to get tattoo at 3ish but was busy so to,d me to come back in half an hour. So went for wander but was miserable weather so ended up at San churro got hot chocolate with peanut butter spoon was ok but prefer more peanut butter. Time then to go back to Bondi Ink for my tattoo my initial plan was only having consultation today to decide what to have. As I knew I wanted stars on my foot but it was what type of design I wanted and how many so the difficult part was deciding what to have. Ended up getting 5 stars my originally plan was to only get 1 or 3 but when 'Maya' did the design the 5 looked so good together that I thought why not. Everyone had told me to have it done on your foot is painful but actually wasn't that bad was just like hard itching. So glad I have eventually got it done all stars are black apart from from one is coloured in turquoise to maybe represent me. I am now tempted to make it bigger going further up my foot but no rush for that, time will tell as happy with it at moment. Unfortunately don't accept card so had to go to cash machine only across the road borrowed girls brolly but lucky stopped raining was $120. Then head home call Coles first to get a few things for work tomorrow but didn't have everything I wanted as no grapes so will have to go to tomorrow. Home cook tea chilli and rice made that much that 3 potions for work and also made 2 more pasta meals for work so at least food sorted this week for work. Then time to watch the biggest loser so glad the blue team didn't win and that the orange won, also phoned mum to tell her about tattoo but Sharon already told her.
Morning tea, meet Lou and vivid festival
Monday 21st may up early and Bianca texted to see if want to cal at hers first before morning tea to get my birthday present present and coat hangers. Then on to the big morning tea which work organising for cancer research so thought would go show my support. It looked amazing my mouth was watering just looking at but so much choice but mainly sweet things so what to have. May, Andrea and Michelle were helping out but their came to sit whilst I had a nice cup of tea with some yummy treats. I didn't really want sweet things but more sweet than savoury but found a few savoury things nice onion tart made my Andrea and carrot cake. It only cost $5 per plate and at least was off to a good cause like cancer but their is always some who take advantage as was one who put in her bag. Afterwards popped to Rhodes to print off some pictures for my picture frame whilst waiting for them to print. Thought might aswell pop to flight to price up Adelaide and kangaroo island and is not too bad a price at minute but need to wait for off duty. Home aim to go for run but never happened instead I updated blog and sorted out pictures into photo frame. It was then to meet Lou at circular at 5ish for tea went to orient had kangaroo burrito was good whilst sat eating and drinking starting raining heavily. So thought might aswell have another glass of win whilst we waited to see if rain stopped as aim was to go see vivid festival after. When left just after 7ish rained appeared to off stopped but was just drizzling but Lou went home whilst I went to look at the vivid festival. The vivid festival is the 18th annual event of light, music and ideas has become Sydney's major festival in winter attracting lots of visitors. You can see why when you see the favourite lighting of the Sydney Opera House sails has lots of good designs such as stars, pin ball machine, zebra and lots more. Also was beautiful journey round the harbour foreshore known as the light walk to see all the different light sculptures. The bulky bulb along the promenade is hard to miss a hugh old fashioned light bulb which is criss crossed with translucent tubes. Some off the light art sculptures have a message, some are pure fun and then their are ones which are interactive. Also the buildings round circular quay like customs house and museum of contemporary art transform into amazing colourful canvas. What ever you come for its an engaging, colourful and beautiful way to experience Sydney Harbour on a winters night beneath the stars. Then walk to Wynyard to catch train back got in just after 9, chill with wine and watch my favourite programme Elementary.
Day off, exercise and rocks
Sunday 26th May for some reason woke up early just before 7 so decided to update blog as nearly a month behind and do washing. Then went to spinning class at 9 was good really enjoyed glad I ended up going. We were then going to meet Bianca and Jen for coffee but was late as Jen got flat tyre on route so Bianca changed it. When arrived met them at Oliver brown and Matt was also their Jen's boyfriend who seemed ok I had dark hot chocolate and banana bread which was very small. We gave Bianca her present today and she really liked so that's good and Debbie had to leave early as at work. Once finished I quickly went home to drop Debbie's bag which Bianca had borrowed and then to catch train to city and on same train as Bianca. So we decided to go to the Rocks together as wanted to have a look for gifts but couldn't find anything but Bianca left me to go get my birthday present. Then we walked to Darling harbour as wanted to get Bianca a Tasmanian devil but didn't like and to see if could see NY boat, but not there. Then to Harbourside as Bianca had to get some gifts for her nephews and I got dads Father's Day present and then home. Once home I knew I had should go for run according to running plan but only did a quick run as getting dark so didn't want to go to fat did 2.78miles. I then came home and had tea thought would try something else had noodles with veg and fried egg on top was good and then watched TV.
Work 6 days, meals out and running.
Monday 20th woke up ridiculous early at 7.30 don't know why when definitely don't need to be up that early. Went to gym and did 49mind cardio which included run off 2.02 mikes and did my weights. I then went to meet Ann and her husband Greg as been here all weekend but first time get to meet her. We met for brunch at coffee club and I had a four cheese omelette was good was nice to catch up and got to speak about England as as Greg interested about it. Then had to go to work and team leader at work only open to 24 patients had a few discharges and admissions. Finished a few minutes late as handover took a while but got to walk home with Debbie. Tuesday didn't sleep well last night as couldn't get warm was far too cold but then obvisiously went to sleep. Was team leader again and had limited staff to start off with but then got AIN who kindly did all the obs. We also had patient from prison who had 3 guards with her and ended up getting discharged as refused all treatment. When been transferred 6 guards with her as been transferred to a different prison and she didn't know. Rest of shift not too bad but the other nurse I worked with avoided going into our prison patient but I had no bother. After work went to city to meet Kat 1st stop drink at darling quarter then to sushi train and got to try something's which I hadn't had before. I only a few dishes maybe 5 in total and you pay per plate $3 you don't think will fill you up but it did and I will definitely go again.
Wednesday early and only open to 18 patients so very nice but for some reason still didn't go for break til 11. Also I ended up having to hand over even though I wasn't team leader as Mona was busy doing chemo with educator. Took blood this morning not as good as hoped probably as not done for a while but then did again just before finishing and a lot better. After finishing went to library with Debbie as she had to print off label to send her parcel so then to post office and Coles. Off out tonight for Mays birthday with Michelle and Rebecca was abit off a miserable night and whilst waiting for Michelle to arrive nearly got in the wrong car as looked very similar. Also Michelle running late as got struck in traffic we ended up going to Kazbah and I decided to try something different had chicken Tagine, a traditional Moroccan dish. We then all shared a dessert the Kazbah bomb which is Turkish Delight ice-cream, blueberries flamed with kurrant vodka, very nice considering don't really like Turkish delight. Thursday early again only open to 18 patients still not bad shift did line change and blood taking was ok. We had staff meeting which seemed to go on forever with no praise did not leave til 3.45 but still actually got out before Debbie. Then to flight centre to pay for rest off New York trip and booked seats for way home all window seats and to Coles for some groceries. It was then to gym as getting too dark to go for a run outside only did 2 miles was hard work probably as banged knee yesterday on coffee table at home and was sore most of the day.
Friday on another early work nice at first as only had 9 patients then at about 12ish started to get busy and opened to 24 patients. I was team leader finished on time, was last day of the students and spent lot of time together this week so got me a present some Max Brenner chocolates very nice. When finished was raining so got a little wet walking home just a good job took my umbrella with. Once home waited for rain to settle abit then went for a run did 4.52 miles without stopping but very tempted to stop as sore left calf. Home and had bath to help ease the calf then did tea chicken fajitas then watched TV and fall asleep on sofa. Then Saturday on my last shift of 6 and another early also made me swap sides after been on B side all week. Was not happy at first that been swapped side but glad by end as I think I had a better shift than the other side even though open to 24 patients. After work went to DFO with Debbie as thought we best get Bianca's birthday present as just over a week til she flys. Decided to get her a Michael Kors wallet as we know she loves Michael Kors so hopefully cant go wrong but she has a week to change if not happy with it. I also bought myself some new pyjamas from Peter Alexander as thought could do with some more long ones this time had rabbits on, very cute and got a free phone case. On way back stop Coles and then go to good court for tea had Cornish pastry with chips and gravy reminded me off home. Supposed to be off out with Bianca tonight but she cancelled as not feeling 100% so going out next Saturday instead. Then chilled watched TV spoke to mum and dad at 10.30pm who have actually decided to do NYE cruise for New Year so can start getting than organised now then finished watching oceans 13.

Melbourne
Off to melbourne today Friday after work and got to airport plenty of time once there texted Nat and was just in front of me. So got to jump the queue and joining Nat but somehow still didn't manage to get flight seats together but only behind each other. Had time to quickly get something to eat had sushi then time to go to gate at 17.30 and luckily plane left on time. When arrived to melbourne airport couldn't believe how cold it was compared to Sydney and our departure lounge was like a tin shed must of been as flying cheap and cheerful with Tiger airways. It then to find our way to melbourne city Debbie had recommended using the SkyBus as that's what their had used. The SkyBus ticket is the best value to get from Melbourne Airport to Melbourne city transfer, with a one-way ticket approximately 70 per cent less than the average taxi fare. We decided to get a return and just missed the first bus but only had to wait about 10 minutes for next one. The bus was probably better than the plane as had TV's on the bus to show you things to do in Melbourne. It dropped us off at the Southern Cross Station then time to find our nomads hostel but trust me and Nat to get lost walked to far up street. So we had to train round and then found our hostel but too our justice was on the opposite side off the road to what we were on. Our hostel is situated in one of the best central locations right near flinders street, Yarra river and Southbank. Trust us to be on the 3rd floor and obvisiously no lifts we had a bunk bed with a sink, I agreed to have the top bunk. It was then to go get food went to the Merrywell an American gastro pub next to the Crown Casino and had some dishes to share. We then walked down the buzzing Southbank promenade the path stretches along the south side of the Yarra River and saw some street performer. Then to meet Debbie and Bianca at Workshop Bar which is a cutting edge bar within an old mechanics workshop. A section of the roof has been removed to create a brilliantly secluded outdoor playground in the heart of the city. We went there as Bianca meeting her brothers friend was ok but was full of young ones and we got in at midnight as Natalie tired.
Saturday up 8.30 then off to meet the girls and go to breakfast at 9.30 just went next door then to decide what to do today. To help us decide went to the Nomads information centre who gave us some maps 1st was to the Etihad Stadium to books tickets for AFL game but not open yet. So decided to go do some exploring instead round Melbourne and got slightly lost trying to find the graffiti walls but we eventually found near federation square. Melbourne is known as one of the world’s great street art capitals for its unique expressions of art displayed on approved outdoor locations throughout the city. Street art includes stencils, paste-ups and murals and does not include graffiti or tagging which is illegal. The artwork is fun and interesting which is constantly changing and been painted over as if we came back tomorrow will of changed. This is Melbourne's most contemporary art space.. The murals are amazing and the styles are as diverse as the themes; from the political through to comical to beautiful and vibrant work. It was then to find somewhere to eat ended up going to a little cafe on Southbank had a savoury muffin for a change. We weren't sure if we would make the AFL game at 1.45 as already 1.15 so wouldn't have time to walk it but luckily caught the free tram to the stadium. But unfortunately once we got there was abit off a queue to get tickets but was only $22 and when got in game had only just started. For Essendon, it was the game they were expected to win, were expecting to win but, finally, couldn't win against Brisbane Lions. Was a good game not that I can say I really understood the rules and I didn't realise hoe long it was as has four quarters off 20 minutes each. After the game Nat and Bianca went for a nap but me and Debbie decided to go the Melbourne Sealife Aquarium as free Merlin passes. The penguins were very good could press your nose to the glass in the Antarctica to watch the King and Gentoo penguins waddling on ice and darting through water. The seahorses were beautiful and the Oceanarium is great with a large quantity of smal and large fish (sharks, hugh stingrays etc) to admire. In the entrance is a giant shark and going down to the Oceanarium has a giant shark teeth to stand in, which obvisiously I had to stand in. It was good to pass a few hours but not sure if as good as Sydney one one advantage was that it wasn't as crowded so could wander round with ease.
It then back to hostel to get ready for our night out but what to wear decided on skirt with no tights but thought abit cold for vest top luckily Nat lent me her cardigan to wear. Met the girls then first stop was food went to the Crown Casino as it offers best selection of fine dining and casual dining. Ended up at the food court which has a wide range of food ended up getting Chinese which was good. The Crown Casino and entertainment precicint is very big which offers restaurants, shopping, gaming, accommodation and entertainment has some very posh shops. It was then to the Chill On ice lounge which has 50 Tonnes of ice carved out for your entertainment. You get to drink from the ice glasses, if you are a tourist in Melbourne, then Chill On Ice bar is a must see. The ice bar is amazing cold but amazing the ice sculptures were really cool and the animal skins were fine. Everything inside the ice lounge is made of ice from the bar to lean to the seats to sit on and thebglass you drink from. It was awesome fun and the drinks were really yummy aswell and the ponchos were great to wear completely made the experience unique. Only thing was it was quite strange drinking with ski gloves on but at least my feet were warm in the ugg boots even if my legs a little cold. The price of admission was $30 for 30 minutes with a cocktail was very cold think we left just before 30 minutes. Only downfall is you can't take cameras in but their have 2 camera installed and you can take pictures with these and cost $15 each, but none we liked. It was then to Transport hotel which has 3 floors transport ground floor bar, taxi dining room and then at top the transit cocktail lounge. Transport hotel is known as a great meeting place after work or before a night out at one of the nearby arenas, with its iconic T able to be seen from a distance, your friends will never get lost. It also boasts a lively night of fun and entertainment also it is opposite flinders street station and you can see why it is a great meeting point. We met Nat's friend Josh here who lives in Melbourne so was going to show us some places to go. He took me and Nat to the transit bar which is a rooftop bar which gives you good views of city. Next was Cookie bar which we didn't even get a drink as Bianca not keen so next was 'Emerald Peacock' a rooftop cocktail bar. The cocktail menu is extensive and the stylish bar has a casual rooftop setting with great views and Josh left us here. It was then to find somewhere to dance we got taxi to Docklands and went to club Alumbra cost $20 to get in. Alumbra had a lofty warehouse feel which is best described as back alley Casablanca meets New York and was very busy someone even had someone stand on my foot got in 1ish.
Sunday woke up 8.30 but didn't get moving til 9ish, then shower, finish packing and had to take all linen off bed. It was then time to check out at 10am first taken linen downstairs then told didn't have to strip beds put luggage in luggage room then meet girls downstairs. Then breakfast and went to the same place we went last night the food court in Crown Casino only had something small a almond crossiant. We then decided we would go to Kilda beach today and was told only takes about a hour so we thought we would start walking. We got as far as Albert Park which took about 30 minutes then decided would get a taxi the rest of the way was none going by so ended up phoning for one. As soon as we got to Kilda beach the first thing we saw was Melbourne Luna Park which is a historic amusement park located on the foreshore of Port Phillip Bay in St Kilda. This Luna park looked more freaky than the one in Sydney but we decided against going inside instead wander past the stalls and onto the beach. Before we wandered onto the beach it looked a nice view from the other side off the bridge could see the pier and yachts. Just a shame no colourful beach huts is actually at Brighton beach so will have to come back to see. Also no penguins which can notmally be seen on the St Kilda pier, but they will not be able to be viewed until early September due to the construction of the marina. It was then to Beachcomber for milkshake then wander further down the beach front to the lighthouse then back to beachcomber for lunch salmon pizza, was good. We then got the taxi back to the city Debbie and Bianca went to rest at the hostel whilst me and Nat went to DFO but was not as good as Sydney one. It can't off been as good as I didn't even buy anything it did have a Peter Alexander but didn't appear to have as good discount as our. Back to hostel and chill before we had to go catch the Skybus back to the airport but we were in different terminals. Whilst queuing up to check in was one of the Drs from my hospital what a small world and we got seats together this time. Our terminal was very small didn't really have much in just one shop so didn't get anything eat. Got home at 21.30 and speak to mum and dad on Skype then Rhys phoned as wanted to hear my English accent had a good chat.

More work and Addams Family
HWoke up 8 on Tuesday 14th May had something to eat then back to sleep til 9.30. Then thought best go for run since not going to have time to go much this week did 4.58 miles but did stop after 3 miles as needed to blow my nose. Came home and eventually sorted out Dodo Internet, yeh and it's about time been over a month so exciting to finally have internet. Left abit early for work so could call at target on route to finally get our sandwich toaster which there actually had this time. Work ok only open to 24 patients thought might get moved but I didn't a few patients happy to see may was taxi driver tonight as gave both me and Reena a lift home both live in Rhodes. Wednesday woke up ok today got up to have cup of tea but foolishly got back in bed as warmest place but didn't go back to sleep played on internet. Was expecting to be moved wards today but was team leader but 2 staff on my side were with patient about a hour and half but luckily was not too busy and actually got a few minutes early. It was then to meet Debbie at flight centre after work to go sort out flights for New York as going in August for a few nights. Unfortunate we can't do Hawaii anymore as would mean that we actually lose a full day so not worth it will just have to go another time. But ended up booking our flights and accommodation to New York so exciting but on different flights which no good only paid deposit so far. So we fly 26th -30th august staying at the Soho Grand which i cludes breakfast and free bike hire, not sure if will use them but might be nice riding bike in central park. It was then quickly home and get changed as off to see the Addams Family musical tonight, a moderate hit on Broadway which arrived in Sydney in perfect working order. I enjoyed the show growing up with the Addams Family on TV it brought back memories of that strange but loveable family. They're creepy and they're kooky and the Australian players really dazzled, a great show with quick witted lines and great singing. Was funny witty and entertaining one of the best shows I have seen in a while would recommend to anyone of all ages. Is slightly different to the TV programme as is about Wednesday Addams and her 'normal' boyfriend romance which is nightmare for her patents Gomez and Morticia. When back transferred money to Sharon as had promised to pay half off her flights but was not tired but I knew I had to go to bed as on early tomorrow.
Didnt want to get up on Thursday on way to work spoke hone to arrange when we are actually speaking on Skype as been so long. Still only open to 24 patients at work but luckily got to keep all 7 staff was Toby's birthday so had a celebration at end of day was lots of cakes but too full couldn't fit much in. It was nice as the team leader at the end of the shift noticed how hard I worked today and hadnt realised how slow the other staff member was. Finished a few minute late and when walking to Rhodes met Debbie off to meet Bianca as their go to Melbourne tonight. I then went to flight centre to sort out my New York flights as not really happy with the ones I got yesterday. Spoke with a different travel agent 'Dave' who very good at finding flights and got me on the same flight as Debbie was abit more expensive but only $80 so worth it. Supposed to meet Kat tonight for a catch up but rearranged for another night next week as a few things to do tonight. As soon as I got in went for my run only did 2.02 miles but ran it all. Then to get my free burrito at 'Guzman y Gomez' a New Mexican food place just opened at Rhodes shopping centre. Was a long queue took about 20 minutes had a spicy chicken burrito was good but a few too many black beans in for my liking but did have a kick to it. Then I came back and chilled in front of the TV decided to look on Blendr got talking to some peopke and then thought best pack for my weekend in Melbourne. Friday woke up 5.30 before my alarm went off and even had time for a cup of tea before work. Unfortunately was team leader again today and only 2 staff which included me and a student on my side for 12 patients plus had new admission. Was busy morning didn't stop most of the morning had patient who had deteriorated so as soon as Dr arrived got them to review patient. Did blood taking and feel I am getting better at it but feel just need to get better at putting on my sterile gloves. Worked through my lunch as finishing early today luckily got done on time finished just after 2.30 also Toby's last shift as leaving to go to ED, then straight home shower and then to catch train.
Day with Debbie and Hard Rock Cafe
Woke up 8ish laid around house til 11ish then thought we best do something otherwise come a few hours will still be in same place. So first stop Sheridan's to go change my bedding since got wrong size fitted sheet and swap pillows which did easily but had to pay extra as promotion last time. Then walked to Paddington to try the very skinny jeans and bird top which I liked last week at 'Pearl' ended up buying with 20% off. Walked to city 1st stop lunch had savoury waffle was good but think I still prefer sweets but at least I can stay now tried. I then thought I best phone DoDo again as till not got Internet nearly been a month now without Internet told me working but was definitely not working this morning. It was then to go do some more shopping looked in Micheal Kors was a nice aqua dress which think would go well with my shoes of prey shoes, but not 100% sure. Our aim to today was to do the a Sydney Skywalk as we both still haven't done and is only $30 each since got Merlin pass but decided against it as cloudy, just do another time. It was then to take Debbie to Yoghurtberry as she has not tired yet is a delicious combination of frozen Yogurt, berries and sweets she liked only thing is didn't have my coconut one. Then to Darling Harbour to go to wildlife centre to get my godsons a present for when I go home. Drink at food court as abit early to meet Sarah and Bianca yet so thought might aswell pass our time whilst resting. It was then to meet the girls at Hard Rock Cafe Bianca was last to arrive had a nice burger but I couldn't fit pudding all the rest had one so I had wine instead. Was nice to catch up as been a while since seen others found out Sarah met Dave on Blendr a social networking site, so might give it a go.
Work 2 days, Debbie back and run
Saturday 11th May woke up 7 chilled for abit then went to spinning class at 9am which seemed harder today. Then to Rhodes to collect parcel was Ellie's Xmas present which ordered from Country Road and to get mattress protector as felt need one. Once home realised that mattress protector and the sheet I got yesterday from Sheridan's are the wrong size. So back to Rhodes to change the mattress protector from double to queen which did straight away after getting one from store room as obvisiously none on shelf. Then home to make bed but had to put on old sheet til I have time to Chang it and realised one of new pillowcases marked. At work only had 7 patients to start with then got 2 admissions didn't stop all shift and Mandy gave me lift home and couldn't get to sleep. Sunday on a early this morning and actually got up alright and went scenic way to work. Only open to 16 patients so one staff got moved wards so only 5 staff and one specialising patient so nurse in charge helped me., was not too bad. Walk back with Sharon again to train station and when home Debbie back so caught up for abit. Then go for run did 6.31 miles but did stop after 2.90 miles as had tummy ache so went for toilet stop. When back worked out 6.31 miles is 10 km so only 4 km's or 2 and half miles to go then doing the distance for city2surf. Back then me and Debbie went to Coles for food and killa burger for tea had ninja burger (chicken burger and peanut sauce) with chips and gravy. Then home chill in front of TV watch 'Elementary' one of my favourite programmes at moment is a modern take on Sherlock Holmes and film 'Road trip' was funny.
Day off, eclipse, shopping and run
Friday 10th may woke up 7 chilled for abit and got to watch the partial eclipse of the sun over Sydney on the news. The Eclipse occurs in the Western sky as the Moon is setting in the morning, and has the promise of being quite dramatic and a good for photography, but didn't get any as on TV. However the next one that will be visible in Australia to pass directly over Sydney won't be until July 2028, so good that got to see this one as very rare. It was then time to go for my run according to my plan did 3.60 miles and had to stop after 2 miles to stretch my calfs as left one aching but then ran rest after stretching. Back and decided might aswell go to the city and 1st look Country Road to see if had top liked for Eliie but didn't have. So got bus to Bondi Junction as has some good shops which are not in city and not been for a while. Still no top at Country Road for Ellie but managed to find another one at different shop which was just as cute. Thought might find something for myself but no luck so got off bus at Paddington and went to shop went to last week. As I thought I might get the skinny jeans I saw last week but didn't have in my size but go to order in my size and get 20% off. Walk to Surreyhills go to Sherdians as had seen nice bedding there but unfortunately the duvet and pillowcases didn't match but still got as liked it. Then call at Coles on way home for mainly fruit and wine as it is a Friday night so thought might aswell have wine. Supposed to see Dwayne tonight but he stood me up as he forgot mate over but luckily good film on TV and never ended up changing bedding will do tomorrow.

6 days of work, 1st Japanese and meet old friends....
Saturday 4th May up 8ish tempted not to go to spinning class but glad I went in the end as always feel better after been. Then chilled before work sat on the balcony and read my kindle as a shame not to enjoy the nice weather. At work was busy but not as bad as normal have a few palliative patients at the moment. We had one palliative patient who was very agitated which we didn't seem to be able to get under control had to give a few extra medications. Mandy then kindly gave me a lift home but was still wide awake when home so had hot chocolate and watched TV for abit. Sunday didn't want to get up this morning for work but had a nice walk to work through kokodo track memorial walkway. Work not as bad as expected only had a few watches but only had 10 patients got done on time but took a while for handover to start. At home sit and watch TV for abit good to catch up on neighbours as not seen that much of it this week. Went for a run was hard work only managed 2.06 miles and literally had to force myself to go but I suppose at least I went even if only managed a short one. Had tea when back then to Coles to get a few essential like milk etc. Dwayne had texted earlier wanting to catch up for a drink but was looking forward to having a lazy night in so he came round with wine. It was good to catch up drink wine and he had bought his hard drive so could watch film but ended up just watching TV. He stayed over and cooked me breakfast in bed omelette which was actually very nice but ended up getting up as difficult to eat in bed, anyone would think trying to get in my good books. Then back to sleep and got up 10.30, Dwayne left at about 11ish and I phoned DoDo again as still no Internet said should be in on Wednesday. Work not too bad for a Monday afternoon only open to 24 patients and 3 empty beds had 1 blood product and end of shift had a clinical review for temperature. On way home spoke to mum and dad who were at Chester Zoo as bank holiday at home and was a nice day for a change. Got home had shower then and Dwayne came round watched one of his films 'Abrahim Lincoln Vampire Hunter' which was completely ludicrous which made it funny.
On Tuesday supposed to meet Bianca for breakfast but she was tired to go after finishing nights this morning. So instead had breakfast at home then I went for a run did 4.13 miles had to stop after 2 miles and when back legs very heavy. When back sorted lunch for tomorrow as on early tomorrow and did washing etc. It was then to work which was luckily was not as busy as yesterday but still had lots to do. Then early on Wednesday didn't want to get up for work today but did was not too bad but had MET call 1st thing. Felt like on my own for abit as my other staff disappeared didn't go for lunch til 2 but at least I actually finished on time. Then went to Staff Health after finish to see if can do anything for my hands as still very sore gave me some hydrocortisone 0.5% cream and said to speak to infection control about hand washing. Explained off home shortly and will see my Dr at home she said if not improved will refer me to dermatology clinic. Then to flight centre to see how much to change flight as got off duty and could go earlier is $300 which probably not worth it, then go for a run only did 2.04 miles. It was then to catch train and go meet at Toby for Japanese as been on about going for ages and was good got to try a few new things like green tea which definitely like now, will definitely have again. Thursday on another early didn't want to get up this pressed snooze a few things. Then get to work and first thing have clinical review as high respiratory rate and low oxygen saturations not a good start to shift. Took bloods, line change and heparin locked line with educator feel confident taking bloods but need more practice with rest. Walked with work collegue Sharon to Rhodes station via park, when got in oukdnt be bothered doing much was going to go to gym but never happened. In the end got comfy on sofa had tea watching TV kept falling asleep, so when eventually got to bed couldn't get to sleep.
Shopping, running and meal work
Thursday 2nd May woke up this morning and Sharon texted to say booked flights coming 9th-26th September, woohoo so exciting. Got up 9.30 and cleaned the place as due for inspection tomorrow morning. Fire alarm went off whilst cleaning didn't think needed to evacuate place but the fire brigade arrived and eventually alarm stopped. Went for a run only did a short one 1.69 miles then came Home and went to spinning class was good. Then came home lunch, washing and then thought I best go do something instead of staying in flat all day. So went to city to get my hand cream from the rosehip pharmacy in Surreyhills which was unfortunately shut yesterday when in Surreyhills. On way up went to Sherdians outlet as wanted a European pillow but will have to come back as had some nice quilt covers. After getting my hydrating cream which is supposed to help with dry, sensitive skin and fish oil tablets to work from inside to the outside. Also tried to recommend me to get other tablets to help with eczema but declined as said would see how this works first. Then went to Messina and got lovely sorbet 'salted coconut and mango salsa' yum yum, sat in park and finished my chapter. Decided to then walk to Paddington and browse round the shops as never been there before and supposed to be some nice shops. Paddington is a trendy inner-city suburb that has a reputation for great shopping whether its function or fashion you are after, there is something for everyone in Paddington. Ask anyone about their first impressions of Paddington, or Paddo to the locals, and they’d probably say ‘sophisticated’ or ‘cool’. Paddington’s designer strip is all about exclusivity, luxury and bespoke shopping. Was some nice shops but at nice prices aswell but found a nice boutique shop 'Pearl' with some lovely skinny jeans. Went to country road to get Ellie's Xmas present so can take home with me but sold out in store but luckily one store had one so did phone order. I also something else to buy her from there didn't have in her size here but had in city store so got bus to the city. It took them a while to find in the QVB store and ended up buying 2 items so nearly got Ellie's Xmas present sorted. Then home have tea only had pasta and chilled in front of TV for abit.
Friday woke up 7.30 and waited around for them to come and inspect the place at 9.10 but by 10 still not turned up. Thought best to phone them up to see what happening as this ridiculous nearly a hour waiting for them to turn up. Only to be informed that the inspection been cancelled due to a emergency and didn't have my number to phone to let me know. So went to Rhodes to get a few cards for Samuels 6th and one for Nanna then sat outside in sun and wrote them. Then go look in target for sandwich toaster non left, ikea for picture frame but not sure which one and Coles for groceries. Home and decided to try making something new for lunch so made egg fried rice was nice but somehow managed to break a glass. Then to gym ran for a hour did 6.05 miles which is 9.7km so happy so less than 5kms more to do then distance off city2surf run. I then did the stretch exercises which I was shown last week but can still not do the weight behind my neck with lunges think its as afraid of dropping weight. It was then time to get ready to go out as off out with work tonight to Hurricane's grill steakhouse restaurant at Top Ryde. May kindly picked me up at 6 with Michelle and we were their in plenty of time was actually the 1st there. Was only 7 of us but was good night me, Michelle and May shared full pork rib, BBQ chicken and borewors. As the girls both not had Borewors before which is a traditional South African sausage which was mildly spiced with mash and Spanish sauce. Was very fun as we all had bibs on due to the messiness off the the ribs which I think we definitely needed. Everything was declared to be delicious and most went for us had the ribs which are usually good, have a really nice sauce on them and generous in size. But unfortunately their never came back with the drinks menu so never got one of the delicious cocktails their do, will just have to go back again. It took us abit to get out of car park and when May dropped us off showed her and Michelle my flat which their thought was lovely.
