Week off 20th July was not the best week as had hurt my back and shoulders somehow and even heat rub didn't help. Also my personal trainer couldn't help it with and unfortunately my personal trainer Lauren was her last day on Wednesday so will have a new one next week. Also was a busy week at work and in charge for a few shifts as acting NUM on study days and then an RDO (rostered day off) on Friday. On the Wednesday was a 1 year birthday party so their did a BBQ for everyone but foolish did it at 12 so nurses couldn't go. As unfortunately that our busiest time and by the time came for us to get food was none left luckily cooked more sausages for us. Also was so silly as hardly knew most the people that were there and was not the best for staff morale. Then on the Friday after work I went to the Drs in Rhodes about my pain and headaches she recommend seeing a sports physio and gave me a sick note for Saturday. Was not sure whether to use the sick note as felt abit of a fraud but eventually at 9pm I phoned up sick as the pain was getting worse. Which actually worked in my advantage since away this weekend in Kiama for my 2 years since met Tiago, which has flown by. On Saturday up early as having breakfast at Coogee at 10am for Nadia, Gabrielle's mum at the Brazilian restaurant Farinha. Was all you can eat Brazilian breakfast for under $20 fresh fruits, cheese breads, meats, juices, yoghurt and coffee. Really enjoyed the acai smoothie , but unfortunately the coffee was too sweet so only had a sip then left it. The food was ok but found it very oily so only had a little of everything but no bacon as too seemed abit too greasy but liked the bite size cheese bread. Got home just after 12 go get some wine to take away with us choose a red and sparkling wine. Then get sorted to go away for the night to Kiama not before having a coffee which Tiago accidentally spilt on me. So ended up having to get changed and then waited for the washing machine to finish and left just before 2pm. Traffic seemed to be quite bad going and stopped at McDonald's over an hour into journey for Tiago to get a coffee. Ended up getting to our hotel 'The Sebel Kiama' just after 4 and is well located in Kiama overlooking the bay towards the blowholes. Was free parking which was a bonus and when checking got a free welcome plus breakfast in the morning, which we didn't expect so nice. Once we got to our room was nice and big with a small balcony which would be good in the summer but looked into the road. The hotel only disappointment was that their was no pool but did have a gym but didn't bring our gym stuff. Once settled in was time to have a glass of red wine whilst watching TV and deciding where to eat tonight. Went for dinner at their restaurant the blue diamond bar and bistro located on the lower ground floor. I had the salmon with cous cous which was abit strange as the cous cous was abit strange was little yellow balls. Tiago had the pork ribs which unfortunately was overdone and enough sauce so definitely not the best meal. But on a plus we got our free welcome drink so I had a glass of wine which was good after meal moved into bar which overlooked the bay. Once back in the room was time for the sparkling wine and then had a nice relaxing bath but not a spa bath like the one in Port Stephens and bed 10ish. On Sunday up 9ish get ready, shower and then go for our free complimentary breakfast before 10. Breakfast was in the quarry restaurant on the ground floor and luckily we got a window seat with a stunning 180 view of Kiama harbour. We enjoyed a delicious full buffet breakfast with plenty of choice first had scrambled egg with mushrooms and tomatoes. Then fruit with pancake from the pancake machine with fresh honeycomb so good. Also even the coffee tasted good and was nice to have a window seat to admire the beautiful day with the sun shining. Back to the room after breakfast to get things and checked out at 10.45, so good that check out not to early would definitely stay again. It was then to go see the Kiama blowhole which is the town's major tourist attraction. Under certain sea conditions the blowhole can spray water up to 25 metres in the air and drenching any bystanders. Unfortunately today it wasn't performing for us but still offered beautiful views and also got to see the lighthouse aswell. On road after 11 back to Sydney and on way out saw lots more places could of eaten in walking distance at last night but at least we know for next time. Luckily on way home home traffic a lot better and stopped on route to get petrol as good rate and got home 1ish. Once home relax for abit then go for a coffee about 3.30ish and do the shopping on the way back. It was then time to chill for abit before going to the gym 5ish and actually ran for the first time this week and managed 3.11kms in under 17 minutes very happy with it. Aim to speak to patents when on Skype and tried a few times but with no success, so had shower then dinner. For dinner had pork cutlets which not had before but very tasty with lots of greens, Tiago really enjoyed it. I then spoke to parents about 9.30ish on Skype as there never got the message first time so that's why no answer. On the Monday was off work and actually our 2 year anniversary since met Tiago today so arranged to go out for dinner tonight. Luckily I was off work all day so during in day had my personal training with new instructor Georgia at 10.30 and seems gave me new exercises to do. I then met Hannah old work mate for lunch at Maisy's 24hr restaurant at 12 as she is having dinner on Friday but can't go. Was nice to meet her again and discussed about the NUM position but said don't want it as too stressful. Also the interview I had the other week for palliative care job at St Vincent's I didn't get but quite glad as got a bad vibe from the NUM. As he wasn't impressed that I didn't have a question at first but eventually I got one so not really disappointed. Once home relaxed for abit then decided would try to go for a run outside and ran to Cremorne reserve which was better than expected did 4.15 Kim's in 23 minutes. It was then to get ready for meal tonight and since not eating til 8.30 Tiago wanted to meet in city at 6.30 to save him coming home first. Met at Star bar in the heart of the Sydney CBD on George street at 6.45 for a drink had 2 wines. Decided to have a game of pool for something to do even though I haven't played for ages and not that good. Tiago won the first one then me the 2nd somehow and then it was the decider game but went downstairs as more pool tables. Unfortunately I podded the black ball but we still continues with the game until all balls in which Tiago won. It was then time to head to the restaurant but was abit of walking so got train from town hall to circular quay. But we just missed the 1st train as I nearly fell down the stairs but luckily didn't and only had to wait 3 minutes til next one. Got to restaurant 'Cafe Sydney' just before 8.30 and is situated on the 5th floor of the common house. Cafe Sydney captures the essence of Sydney from its amazing location on the rooftop with spectacular harbour views. We had looked at the menu before hand and was tempted with the seafood platter but unfortunately was cold so decided against it. So instead we shared 1/2 dozen oysters first and then I had the barramundi and Tiago had the ocean trout as fish appeared to be there speciality. The food was delicious and drank wine with the meal, but was no desserts we fancied so just had desert wine then berry tea and got home 10.30. It definitely one of the best restaurants we have been to in Sydney is not cheap but is worth it as the best view in Sydney.

Tiago's cousins wedding
Sunday 5th July was Gabi's cousins wedding Andre Cerutti to Erica Green. Unfortunately we only found out about the wedding the weekend of my birthday and was supposed to be working. But luckily back at work on the Tuesday 23rd June on afternoon and found someone to swap which was a relief. Was disappointed when back at work on the Tuesday as everyone knew was my birthday the day before but no cake. Everyone asked how my day was but for some reason thought would get a cake as when someone else's birthday there got one. But I suppose I shouldn't of expected the same treatment as it was acting NUM Amie who bought the last cake. On Wednesday I found out that I had the current points for my expression of interest visa so hopefully will soon get invite then can apply for my permanent residence. I then started nights on the Wednesday for 4 nights and trust me to cone home with the pager on Thursday but luckily didn't have to take back. Also sometimes when I finish nights can take for every to get home but think since school holidays and broke up early wasn't too bad. Whilst on nights gave me chance in the day to look for a outfit for the wedding and loaded a skirt from ASOS was just hoping would arrive in time as coming from UK. On Friday after work was awake by 13.30 so decided to go to Bondi junction during in afternoon to pick Tiago up from work. Also so I could buy the dyson hand stick as on offer at Myer and Tiago had gift card so was only $125 each. But unfortunately was none left in store but one good thing was that there could order it for us and get it sent to us free, so did that. Luckily night not to bad and on my last one on Saturday night thought might drag as went for break at 1.30. Also on Saturday night Tiago had the stag do for Andre which was in Bondi Junction in an apartment but wasn't a late night. Then on the Sunday after my nights didn't sleep for too long to spoil my day so didn't do much but went did go to gym with Tiago. On the Monday 29th June started my personal training but did no actual training just going through everything. My new personal trainer is Lauren an Irish instructor who seems nice and then I went to gym where I ran 4kms in 22 mins and 41 seconds. The rest of the day I just chilled and actually made some scones as Tiago had a bad day in court his appeal didn't go well. Also luckily the skirt I ordered from ASOS arrived today but not sure what top to wear yet. On Tuesday up early as cleaner coming had said 10ish unfortunately arrived after 10am otherwise could of gone to class at personal trainer gym. So whilst the cleaner was there I went to the gym where I ran 2.5kms in under 15 minutes also went on the bike where I read my kindle at same time. Once home quick change then go to the city to meet Sarah before she goes on her holiday to Europe. We were supposed to go the Cool Yule festival in Darling Harbour but we ended up getting distracted with shopping. As I decided I wanted the black crop top I saw at forever new then got a pink clutch and necklace to go with it. Also Sarah ended up buying a few things things for her holiday as needed more summer things. We then had a nice lunch in the QVB building but only had salad which was good had mango on it. Once back hone was quickly drop my stuff off at home then go to have my last laser treatment at the salon. Also found out that unfortunately Gabi can't get leave so they cants cone snowboarding with us to New Zealand. Then back at work on Wednesday on a early and at long last Amie is sorting my CNS but have to do another appraisal. Got next roster and I thought I had booked a weekend off but now am working but at least only the saturday. Once finished work got my bracelet from Tiago and was going to go to class which meant waiting 2 hours so went to gym instead. Then on Thursday Watson a early and started the new Emeds which was actually not as bad as I expected. Also when I finished had another parcel to collect and this time was the dyson hoover but couldn't use as needed charging, shame.. But I got to use the dyson on Friday morning before work and was very impressed so much easier to use. I then met my personal trainer again who went through nutrition and supposedly eating too many carbohydrates. So now have to keep a food diary for a few days and try to eat more protein and less carbohdrates. Luckily I managed to swap my Saturday shift to a morning instead of a late so at least could do something after work. Unfortunately work very busy and my patient fell again 2nd time in a week so had to special for a few hours. At least when I finished work I could do something with Tiago so we went to the gym together then had some wine at night. Then on Sunday 5th July was Andre and Erica's wedding at Milk Beach in Vaucluse. But only found out in the morning that we could get a lift from Gabi and Diego so had breakfast first then time to get ready. Luckily was ready in time for when there arrived to pick and I even had chance to paint my finger nails even if I did manage to smudge one on each finger. Even though I had ordered shoes with my skirt I ended up wearing my shoes of prey grey ones as Tiago preferred them with outfit. Got picked up at 11.45 and was only about a 30 minute drive away so definitely there in plentry of time as had to be there for 12.30. Realised though on the way that I should of taken some flat shoes with me as it abit of a pain to get to in heels as lots of ups and downs. Luckily Tiago got out of the car with me instead of helping Diego to park so he could help me down the hills. Milk Beach is a small isolated beach surrounded by the heritage listed Strickland House. It offers a breathtaking view of Sydney and the main landscapes, Milk Beach is one of Sydney's Eastern suburbs well kept secrets. It was definitely a beautiful setting to have a wedding and luckily the sun was shining for them, couldn't off asked for a better day. To get to the actual venue was abit of a pain as had to go down a grass hill over sand then up some steps so I actually had to take shoes off to go over sand. The wedding was supposed to start at 1pm and you normally expect the bride to be late but both of them didn't arrive til nearly 1.30. Which I suppose was quite good as at least it gave everyone plenty of opportunity to take pictures. But we also realised that Andre's immediate family were also late as their had been taking pictures at home before the wedding. The bride looked beautiful in a simple lace dress to below the knee with a flower headdress with matching bouquet. Before the ceremony his brother in law played the guitar and the actually was only short and after played Brazilian instruments. After the ceremony we had to have our pictures taken with the bride and groom as wanted some family pictures. It was then to go the reception which was in Bondi and unfortunately the address was wrong so got out at wrong place first. The reception was at ravesi's which is situated in the heart of Bondi beach with breathtaking coastal views. Me and Gabi got out at the traffic lights whilst the boys went to find a car parking spot as is a nightmare to park in Bondi. Once at the reception was already a few there and went to the bar were we got free drink so I just got a wine. Their were also fetching food round bit was only small bite sized I had the fish n chips would of got one for Tiago but didn't know how long he would be. As their seemed to take a while to get parked probably didn't get there til nearly 3ish and both of them were starving. Also the food coming out less often and when it came everyone starving so wanting it, as probably not had lunch. Luckily there got a drink just in time as when Gabi went up late now had to pay for drinks. Just after 4 both Tiego and Diego were starving so went outside to get something else to eat. There ended up going to Harry's wheels and got a hot dog but I got nothing as trying to be good eating less carbohydrates. When got back to reception was abit of dancing and then it was time for the bouquet to be thrown were both the boys and girls got to it. First it was the girls and was supposed to be all the single girls but there made me go up aswell but didn't catch it. Was quite funny the girl who caught definitely want to catch it as made a jump for it in front of everyone else. It was the the boys turns and Tiago had to group aswell but this time the boys had to have their eyes closed and Tiago didn't catch it. By the end we were getting a little bored so we went downstairs for abit for a change of scenery. Didn't end up leaving til after 6 then had to wait at her aunties house for abit whilst wait for them. Got home about 7ish and then had something to eat since not eaten much just had some scrambled egg and turkey ham. Was a lovely wedding beautiful setting for the ceremony and couldn't of asked for better weather just shame about the lack of food and drink at reception.
