Manly and night out Orient hotel

Saturday 17th November and aim to go to Manly today to collect things from Manly Market. Unfortunately it looked it abit cloudy this morning but me and Debbie still went. But Bianca and Peter decided to do there own thing since weather did not look promising. When we got to Manly the sun decided to come which was good and quicksilver had a 50% sale on so off course I had to look. There was lots of bikinis I liked but unfortunately not in my size, but its not like I really need anymore. So instead I bought a Roxy summer dress and a bandeau top. It was then on to the market to get what I actually came for I got myself a star bracelet and got Sharon a present aswell which will keep for her birthday. Had a look round market and Debbie found a nice picture she liked of Sydney but didn't have any left. We tried chilli popcorn which sounds revolting but was actually quite nice. It was then time to have some fish and chips which we ate on the wall by the beach but we both couldn't finish, as too much. Debbie said is not always a fan off fish and chips but enjoyed these ones so we both couldn't fit Ben and Jerry's ice-cream in. We then looked in a few more shops as Roxy had buy 2 things and get beach towel for $10 but couldn't find anything wanted. But really fancied he pink beach towel, Debbie got a top and a cap and then got the black beach towel. I then went to billabong and bought the havaiana sandals which been looking at past few weeks in beige with pink havaiana writing and was then time to head back. We met Bianca and Peter on the train but there got off at Burwood whilst me and Debbie headed home.
By the time we got back was time to get ready for tonight as off out into city for a few drinks, decided to wear my new star dress. Our aim was to get in about 9ish go to Opera bar first then on to Orient bar but it didn't happen like. As best laid plans never seem to happen that way as the train seemed to take forever to get into the city. It was a very random train journey as someone got taken off train due to have a wee on train as no toilets. So by the time we got to the city was past 10 so decided to go straight to a Orient bar and only cost $5 to get in, bargain. The Orient bar has 3 floors downstairs bar, cocktail bar and nightclub, we went first to cocktail bar but very quiet. So ended up downstairs where there was a live band playing which were quite good and was music that you could dance. Supposedly the Orient Hotel is the place to go if looking for a bit of fun, this is not the place to go if you are looking for style, elegance and sophistication. It's the place you go to if you are looking to have something to talk about. As anything seems to go in Orient we got chatting to some Irish blokes who were very entertaining and were pretending to skip, we're down from Perth as off to see Coldplay tomorrow. When Orient was getting close to shutting the irish still wanted to continue partying to said to go to PBH but tried to get taxi but wouldn't take us so started walking but not sure right direction, eventually got taxi. The PBH (Pyrmont Bridge Hotel) is open 24hrs and is in the darling harbour precinct when we got wouldn't let Shane and Pauly in as said too drunk. So went to get some water and then there let us in once in I was mainly with Shane who seemed nice. Also once we got there we didn't seem to buy our selfs anymore drink Debbie ended up dancing with some girls and boys who had been to Coldplay. We didn't leave PBH til 6ish and then we had to go get McDonalds was strange to be off home when sun coming up could even have breakfast at McDonalds. Which Shane bought us as by this time we had lost Pauly see picture of me and Shane at McDonalds. We could even get the train and Shane started coming with us even though he hadn't been invited, so take it having a visitor. So Shane came back us and was a complete gentlemen but probably got the idea when came out in pyjamas and was both tired as got in 7ish. So Orient bar was definitely a night to remember and was definitely something to talk about in the morning.
