Monday 18th woke up 9ish heard girls coming back from their run but was so hungry so had my almond croissant and updated blog. Then went for a run but was warm and went a different route only did 1.57 miles but foot was sore due to blister from Saturday night. On late at work was ok not too busy and still only open to 24 patients which was good. We had staff meeting which seemed to go on for a while so missed afternoon tea break as I was checking S8 &4's and got lift home from Michelle. On Tuesday up 7.30 to speak home was good connection and spoke for over a hour a d their hopefully planning on coming here in January next year with friends, I then went for a run did 2.11 miles got slightly lost but soon redound my way back and was nice to try different route. At work was Donna's birthday yesterday so Michelle had made a birthday cake banana cake with a citrus butter icing was very nice and moorish (see picture). Since it was her birthday we ordered take-away and Donnas decision what to have decided in Thai, I had pad Thai chicken which could of done with more bean-sprouts. Apart from just eating we did actually do some work and had lots of blood products but not too bad then Michelle kindly gave me a lift home again. Then on Wednesday didn't want to get up for my early and as soon as I got to work I needed a coffee. Was a nice morning at work then afternoon lots of blood products and admissions, one patient was very happy with the care I gave. I then went to Rhodes shopping centre as needed parcel box, padded envelope couldn't find any good birthday cards and some groceries. I was supposed to go to Haidee's house tonight for tea but she wasn't feeling well so cancelled. So I had tea then me and Debbie went for a walk to Olympic park were is cold rock ice creamery where get to pick your favourite combination of ice cream and lollies and watch it get smashed before you. Was very tempted but still so full from tea we actually walked 5.22 miles and on way back went to Coles as Bianca wanted a few things and on nights.
