One year since met Tiago away in Blue Mountains...

Week beginning 21st July on nights this week but luckily got the weekend off which is good as is 1 year since met Tiago on Sunday 27th July. So planned to go away to near blue mountains to celebrate our year together so boomed to stay in hotel with pool and sauna. But first had to work all week on nights and so much to organise first as off have to look my best for the weekend. Also unfortuantely I didn't sleep the best at the start off the week only had 3 hours the first night but luckily 2nd night slept abit better. When got up Wednesday thought best buy so e new lingerie for weekend so went to lingerie ship down the street from me. I fancied having a red one and I tried on a few but none what I liked so ended up getting a blue one which is no surprise since my favourite colour. On Thursday after work on way home dropped into the road transport authority office to sort out licence but couldn't do as needed more documents. Not sure what time got up but had to be at Chic beauty salon at 3pm to have pedicure and laser hair removal to underarm, bikini line and lower legs. So first had the laser hair removal which was less painful than before and didn't take too long. Then for pedicure and difficult part was deciding what colour to have decided on a dark purple as had blue last time. Afterwards my feet felt so soft and mentioned wanted a red lipstick so then there did my make up for me. The make up there did looked nice and really liked the red lipstick not too bright might have to buy at some point. Also gave me some disposal flip flops to wear so my toe nails wouldn't smudge as only had full shoes to put on. Mentioned to them that also needed hair doing and hadn't found one near here mentioned one there go to also phoned up for me and going tomorrow. It was then home put normally shoes and then go to the city to sort out my NSW driving licence. Was only near Wynyard station and thought wouldn't be too busy but had to wait nearly an hour and was so easy. Luckily since from UK don't have to do test like Tiago all I had to do was prove can drive, do eye test then pay $54 for just one year. Unfortuantely didn't get get my card yet will take about a week but gave me a paper copy so can actually drive now. When Tiago got home he noticed I had my make up done which was very observant off him but unfortuantely had to take off before going to work. Tiago asked if I wanted to drive but said since first time for a while probably best not to drive at night prefer in day first so he drove. Work ok  but unfortuantely my AIN not the best just no initiative had to remind to do things and so glad last one. After work straight to Chic beauty salon to have spray tan my first one not sure I needed but just felt like having one as always feel better when tanned. Felt strange when got home as so used to having a shower straight but couldn't have one otherwise would wash off the tan so straight to bed. Didn't sleep the best and when got up have shower was worried would remove all tan but still felt brown. Then straight to hair dresser NV hair studio which was only about 10 minute walk from my home which is even better. As soon as got in the hair studio was lots off police think was a massive drug bust right outside studio and told to stay inside for 10 minutes. My stylist was Matthew who was very nice, told him off to blue mountains this weekend and recommended best way to get there also place to eatin blackheath 'Vulcan's as parents live there. Whilst having hair do even got to have a glass off wine which was nice definitely like my new hairdresser and hairdresser very impressed with, will go again. After having hair done straight to city saw Tiago briefly to say hi and liked my new hair even though probably not that much difference. Then to catch bus to Moore Park to meet Nat at entertainment quarter to go see Lily Allen at Holden Pavillion and was already queue to see her even though a few hours til starts. First for dinner unfortuantely the service abit slow but food ok and Nat liked my hair, then go for drink at PJ Gallaghers Irish pub first which was very busy. But at least when got to concert no queuing was first time at this venue which was smaller than others and to wait abit for her to start but was worth it. There was a few songs I didn't know as from her new album but close the show Lily chose, in my opinion, her finest hit with It’s Not Fair. Got home 11.30ish then not to late to bed as wanted early start on Saturday so could make most off weekend. I was hoping would leave 10ish and have breakfast on route think left just after 11 Tiago asked if wanted to drive again but declined. Unfortuantely didn't really pass many places to eat on the way so ended up just going to McDonalds but was too late for breakfast. On way tried to find number for Vulcan restaurant but unfortunately shut but was good recommendations for Vesta. Luckily phoned up but could only fit us in at 9.30 which we said would be fine. Got to hotel Redleaf Resort just before 2 and luckily could check in abit early as check in 1.30. Wanted to go in Swimming pool and sauna but had to open and warm it up, also fancied a coffee and no way to get at hotel. So drove into Blackheath found a cute little cafe where we had coffee and scones just what we needed. When we got back swimming pool now open and very strange had to access from outside no access from hotel. Was in a little conservatory and the sun was shinning so felt like summer also we were only two in for a while. We ended been in it for nearly 30 mins and could tell Tiago bought up near water. As he was very happy swimming under water whilst I much prefer been on top off it. After the swimming pool we went into the sauna which was very small could only fit maybe four in and was only in for 15 mins. Since not eating til late thought we would have something to eat to keep us going so had the cheese platter and some wine. Watched TV for abit and just chilled before we had to go out, we might even off fallen asleep for abit. Had choice off two outfits to wear in the end decided to wear my skirt and blue top so could wear the necklace Tiago got me. Went to Vesta restaurant in Blackheath for meal which was only a 5 minute drive away and Tiago asked if I wanted but declined. The restaurant was only small so could see why it was hard to get a table, it was warm and bustling filled with happy diners. We fancied the lamb to share but unfortuantely it was sold out, so instead we had the slow roasted beef to share. The dish was superb with generous portions off meat, vegetables and potatoes was the best roast beef I've eaten in a while slow roasted in the wood fired oven. Would definitely recommend this restaurant as it offered great food at a reasonable price eventhough we found the menu selection quite minimal. When back at hotel watched some TV and then finish the wine which we bought with us it wasn't too late anight. In the morning up early as have to check out 10am but first get breakfast and the chef had made us a warm breakfast so be rude not to have. On top off the warm breakfast there was cereals, yoghurts and fruits available but unfortuantely couldn't fit everything in just had warm breakfast then some fruit. Checked out on time and would recommend Redleaf Resort as nice quite location clean comfy rooms with friendly managers and staff ever so helpful. Once checked out decided to go do some exploring as it would be a shame not to see some off the scenery whilst here. So decided to go to Evans lookout point which is only a 5 minute drive away and I drove as thought a good opportunity felt abit strange at first since automatic not manual. Evans Lookout is located at the top of the escarpment at the end of Evans Lookout Road. It is the beginning of a number of tracks in and out of the Gorge including the Grand Canyon walk and the Cliff Top Track to Govetts Leap. From this point you have magnificent views of the Grose Valley and Govetts Gorge, luckily the sun was shining for us. I ended up driving all the way back to Sydney which took about 2hours and in the end I quite enjoyed it.
