Work and IVY night out

Thursday 25th October didn't sleep well again waking up every few hours got up 9.30. Good job on late went to gym for about half an hour. Then I met Jen for free coffee at Ikea, free as have ikea card. I then went shopping bought bath mat, towel from ikea and a dress for Ellie for Christmas. It was then home and go to work as on late which was quite busy had one having chemo. I also managed to swap shifts on friday so now on early instead of late. It was also quite upsetting as found out one of our long standing patients not long to live. Was first time walked hone after late and was fine.
Friday on early and was nice at first then at 10.30 had MET call as patient unresponsive and low blood pressure. So didn't go to break til 11.15 and needed it by then. Then the patient became confused and trying to self discharge. It was also Ann's last day so had some nibbles for her later. Will definitely miss working with her as she made me feel welcome and was funny at same time. After work went to Rhodes to get tea pizza and Bianca had hair cut. Whilst Bianca met Jen for coffee again at ikea.
So glad going our tonight as definitely need a drink. Our aim was to go to the sky tower first but couldn't get in as got there 22.10. Won't let you in after 22hrs, at least we know for next time to be there earlier. So went to IVY cost £20 to get in has 4 levels with pool on 4th floor. The pool looked very inviting to get into but we all resisted. Dwayne was going to come and meet but IVY too posh for him. As the IVY is a sophisticated playground for grown ups and is purpose built to entertain. Is plenty of space for dancing the night away,chatting or lounging. Even got drinks bought for us which can't be bad and was good cocktails. Also the Australian cricket captain Michael Clarke was supposedly there. We even got to have a little dance which was good at end if night lost Bianca. As aim to catch train home as Jen didn't want late night but missed it. So we needed up getting the bus home at about 1.30 and Dwayne just made it on time on the bus. He certainly made a dramatic entrance got to bus shouted 'Jo' and luckily I was sat near front so heard him. Unfortunately Bianca didn't make the bus so said would catch a taxi instead. Bus journey didn't seem as long and was only about 10-15 min walk from bus stop to house. Both Jen and Dwayne stayed over and Debbie on nights again.
