Meet old friends, meals and work

RSunday 14th April woke up 7 pottered for abit do jobs around the house like sorting washing and doing washing etc. Then went to spinning class at 9.15 which was Debbie's first one think she enjoyed but found it hard and I even found it hard work but haven't been to spinning for a while. Then chill for abit before work but on route to work went to Coles and Ikea to get a few things which Debbie took home as on day off. Work was ok but it was a Sunday and Sundays are normally ok, also eventually got signed off giving IVABs via central lines yen Mona gave me a lift home. Then Monday on another late but was up before 7 had breakfast then thought would go for a run did 2.65 miles non stop and ran to old place. As I had to meet cleaner there who was sat outside waiting for me and realised was a few things still in place like containers etc so took to new place. When got in chilled prepared tea for tomorrow at work as out early tomorrow, so won't have time apart from today and then sorted out photos. Before going to work had to go to Rhodes to post cards and get cash out to pay cleaner who wasn't finished when I got their but looked clean from what I saw. Then called at liberty grove agent on way to work to hand in some keys and see how long to get bond, which will hopefully get early next week. Work not too bad was team leader and worked with a new graduate was her first ever late but she did ok. When finished was raining with some thunder and lighting but luckily May gave me lift home so didn't get wet.
Tuesday up early again this morning as off to Sunrise Yoga which was good but need to organise my breathing abit then phone home afterwards. Sharon also texted and thinking of coming over in September with Ellie and Ben for 3 weeks which will be good and be able to stay with me as Debbie will be home by then. It was then off to a Darling Harbour to go meet Helen old work colleague from Harrogate hospital with her family for breakfast. As Helen been in Australia for 3 weeks started in Melbourne and drive up to Sydney only having a few days in Sydney. Was nice to catch up on all the gossip and sounds like she has had a amazing time and was sad to be going home. We went to plate I had bacon eggs which was good, i wanted to take them to waterfront but wasnt open. Afterwards I headed to the tourist shop to go get some more leaflets for mum and dad whilst their went to do sone shopping. Unfortunately didn't have time to post the leaflets as had to head back to go get changed for work and go meet carpet cleaner at Liberty Grove. For some reason the carpet cleaner seemed to think I was Bianca and then I went to drop off the rest off the keys at office. Work was busy as now open to 30 patients as had a few admissions but luckily not on my side and Michelke gave me a lift home.
Wednesday woke up 5.30 didn't want to get up for work but obvisiously did work very busy was team leader. Felt at some points that the rest of my team not communicating with me also opened to 30 had lots of admissions and no discharges but still managed to finish on time. On way home phoned DoDo Internet to see if received my fax which sent sunday but not got yet so not happy will have to resend again. Once home get changed rest for abit then go out as going out to tea at Surreyhills. Whilst walking from Central to Surreyhills saw a place that scans forms so went and scanned my forms and resent to DoDo. Met at the clock hotel just after 6.30 and trus t Nat to be running late but Bianca, Sarah, Dave and Pip, Jen's friend from Brisbane there. Only had to wait abit for Nat not really sure where to eat thought maybe Thai but we had not booked anywhere. Dave suggested 'Red Lantern' a vietnamese restaurant with an Australian cuisine owned by Luke Nguyen who appeared on Australian masterchef but was no room. So then to decide where to eat ended up at an Italian where Bianca and Nat been before was I had duck pasta was very good. It was then to Messina Gelato which is voted the best gelato in Australia by Good Food Guide, but Nat went home. Gelato Messina sets the benchmark for gelato in Australia, with over 40 unique gelato flavours. So what to have as far too much choice, I had banana bread which had caramel through it but couldn't really taste the caramel through it. We sat in the park opposite Messina to eat our gelato and it was good will definitely have again as so many I wanted to try. It was then to walk Pip back to her hotel going down Crown street and Oxford street til we got to her place 'Swiss hotel' near Myer. Then it was to catch our train from town hall and got in after 10 and even got in after Debbie finished work.
