Work up 8 but then went back to sleep til 10 and pottered for abit got invited to go to the Anzac Day rugby with Lou later today sounded like fun as not seen rugby match here yet. Caught the train 12ish to the city got to see the end of the Anzac Day Parade might of been nice to see it all but was 9-13.30, maybe next year will see the parade. Anzac Day is one of Australia’s most important national commemorative occasions. It marks the anniversary of the first major military action fought by Australian and New Zealand forces during the First World War. It was then to Apple store to sort out phone as not turning on and off only found out when went to Ayers Rock when asked to turn phone off but couldn't so put on airplane mode. Unfortunately their couldn't do much with it as it is water logged must of been when dropped in toilet, oops so need new handset. Priced up how much to change to contract but got to sign up for 24 months so might be cheaper to buy 2nd hand iPhone 4. Then to get a boost drink and a quick look in seed as got sale on ended up buying a new scarf which I saw a few weeks ago. It then to catch bus to Coogee to meet but stood their waiting and told at other side of park due to Anzac parade luckily still made it in time. Met Lou at Coogee beach then we got bus to Allianz Stadium at Moore Park to go watch the Anzac Day Rugby was such a good atmosphere. It was good to attend and watched the game on Thursday afternoon like any other spectator. There were lots fans of every age, yet you sensed that all in attendance understood the importance of Anzac Day. The ceremony prior to kick off was observed with respect by most people was good to see the red berets parachute into the stadium before the service started. You then had some of the old servicemen go round the stadium in camouflage trucks and was quite emotional. Obviously the most relevant way to celebrate its history was to play the best match of the 2013 NRL season. The game was between St George Illawarra Dragons and Sydney Rooster, the Roosters and Dragons have played on Anzac Day in 1959, 1961, 1978, 1979 and every year since 2002. We decided to support the dragons since has relevance with England unfortunately our team didn't win but was a good game even though not sure on rules, but will go again. Was good to watch the Anzac Day NRL match where I ate Anzac biscuits which lou bought drank cider on Anzac Day, could I be more Australian. On way home decided to call into Myer first to see if had the star jumper I saw online but didn't but found star scarf not that I need anymore scarfs so didn't buy.

Nanna unwell, Anzac Day rugby
Wednesday 24th April and woke up 12.30 breakfast then thought best go for my run since never happened yesterday. I didn't feel my run was the best felt very sluggish compared to normal and had to stop once but was 20 degrees but did mange to do 3.05 miles. Come back prepare potatoes for tea as doing honemade wedges then go to Coles for a few things. I then went to collect Debbie's parcel from Post Office but unfortunately not there yet so have to get Friday as bank holiday tomorrow, and look at frames in Ikea. When back phoned Wine tour to see if any possibility of spitting the voucher as seem to be struggling to get all 4 of us together but can so that good so just need to arrange to go now. Once Debbie up we went to the intro spinning class at 6pm as only 30minutes instead of 45 but didn't really feel like a intro class. Then get back and do tea potato wedges, lamb burger then a sort of elton mess 1st time Debbie had lamb burger said was ok but liked the elton mess. Go to Rhodes with Debbie when she left for work as need to go sort out my nursing registration as due end ofMay but Internet been silly. I also spoke to Mum and Nanna on Skype but unfortunately the Internet not he best kept going and Nanna seemed abit vague. Home about 11ish watch TV and trust me to fall asleep on the sofa again. At 3.30am got text from Sharon to say Nanna in A&E as confused, probably similar to what happened last year. So thought best phone home to see what happening spoke to Dad as Mum at hospital with Nanna. Said Nanna confused couldn't remember some things as couldn't remember 'Ellie's' name and had fall at charity shop day before. After all the excitement I struggled to get to sleep and Sharon texted again to say Nanna staying in overnight and going to do a CT scan.
