Thursday 7th November woke up at 6 but luckily went back to sleep til 8. Eventually got moving hoovered first and was going to go for run or sunbath but workmen outside and got distracted preparing for interview. Got the train just before 12 and went via Rhodes centre to get cash first. It was then time to find the hairdresser which I booked via scoopon with a saving off 72% as only $29 for cut, treatment and blow dry. Went to Sister hairdressers just off George st for the haircut got their just before 1 was a small salon and not that busy I was the only one. When I booked the offer was tempted to have colour done aswell but glad I didn't as unsure if would of felt comfortable having it done. Had hair treatment first which was on for 10 minutes then for the cut and was only their 30 minutes expected it to be longer. Then to the Strand on a George st a Victorian style shopping arcade built in the mid 1880's. I have been their many times but only really looked on the ground floor, so on the 1st and 2nd floor were lots more shops but very expensive. Also the strand was now nicely decorated for Christmas which made me feel more in the Christmas mood. So thought I would look for Rachel's Christmas present which I found but not the colour I wanted, so will have a think. Then saw some black and white sandals liked in Country Road but decided probably didn't need them yet. Next found another British sweet shop in Glasshouses next to Westfield got tomato crisps and lots of other things wanted. Looked round some more shops and found more shoes which I liked some Nine West animal print sandals. It was then back to Duo in the strand to get Rachel's Christmas present by Melbourne designer Nicole Fendel. Meet Tiago at train station at 6.30ish then go for food at Scruffy Murphy's just had steak and chips. It was then to walk to Circular Quay where just missed ferry to Manly so had to wait 45 minutes for next one. Got to Manly at 9.15 where it was time to meet a Tiago's parents but was also his brother, wife and her parents. Went to the Thai restaurant on Manly Wharf as his patents, Diego and Gabrielle were hungry. It was difficult to them as both parents spoke very little english so Tiago and Gabrielle translated for them. Only their about an hour and then Diego dropped us off at Town Hall but had 20 minutes to wait for train. So popped into Woolworth's to get yoghurts but man gave me creeps as staying at my legs. Got home 11.30 but not that tired so played on Internet prepare fruit for lunch tomorrow bed midnight and Tiago texted to make sure got home ok.
