More work and drinks

Woke up 8ish sort meals for work and eventually got internet working again as realised lights flashing. Went for run 10ish did 3.10 miles which felt good and then come back to wait for insepection but only checking drains even though had cleaned. At work was in charge but only open to 18 patients had nice shift the 1st half moving beds, phoned mum on my break. Felt like I mainly helped A side as only 1 could do medications, even finished 10 minutes early. But once home not tired at firstly knew had to go to bed as early tomorrow so sleep 11ish. In the morning didn't want to get up but I knew I had to. At work had AIN to help which was good as felt from 8 til 9 all I did was washes, also had a few patients who had deteriorated overnight. We then opened to 24 patients so had a few admissions so was very busy and didn't really feel like knew patients that well finish 5 minutes late. On way home feeling need for something so got a small ice-cream had peanut butter this time very nice. Once home tempted to have a nap but never actually happened before I ended up going out. Was on way out but once I got to Town Hall found out Tiago running late so by the time I got to Edgecliff at 7.30 Tiago not there. So ended up having a wander the shops but only supermarkets open no way sit down to get a drink. Tiago eventually arrived 8ish it was then a 10-15 min walk to the Golden Sheaf pub in Double Bay where Tiago meeting his gym friends. But we couldn't find them at first so decided to get some food we both had fish and chips since it was Friday and trust whilst waiting for food saw his friends. Then joined his friends afterwards was his old personal trainers leaving do, looked like their were having a good night but Tiago not really in the mood was tired. It looked a nice bar which featured many fabulous rooms with their own individual personality. We only need up staying for one drink then decided to leave and decided to stay at his place as closer and this time no walking got taxi. His place is only small a studio apartment but was cute had sofa bed to sleep on. Woke up to birds making noise not sure on time but ended up getting up 10ish. He was very sweet even had a new toothbrush for me to use then walk to Edgecliff only 10 minutes away. Had breakfast bacon and egg roll hen found out train onto running as doing trackwork. Then the bus took forever to arrive and was afraid if too late would miss train from town hall to Rhodes and be late for work but luckily made with 2 minutes to spare. As soon as I got home was quickly change and then go to work and still on B side, which was not too bad. But had one patients relatives who weren't happy with the care we were providing felt we were negligent so got pressured into doing BSL again. Also had febrile patients then a clinical review as patient had high heart rate but still managed to finish on time. On way home speak to mum and dad since their internet still not working. Once home did not feel tired so had shower and bed 11.30 woke up 4ish then back to sleep til alarm went off. Work nice wasn't as busy as I had expected, nothing exciting happened just had clinical review as low blood pressure. Afternoon staff took ages to come back as thought would be back 3 as everything done but ended up coming back at 3.15. On way home stopped at shopping centre as had to get a birthday card for one of my friends. Then my plan was to go for a run but then realised I didn't have enough time as meeting Tiago 6ish in the city. But train didn't get to Wynyard til 6.15 so by time got to Opera Bar was 6.30 and Tiago was sat waiting for me. Was very busy round the Opera House probably as it was the Opera House's 40th anniversary where was having a big concert and fireworks. Ended up just having one drink at the Opera Bar and shared some chilli squid was very tasty. Then got bus back to tiago's place in Paddington where he cooked dinner for me salmon, vegetable and rice. But unfortunately didn't end up having the rice as was not done in time so just went without it. It was then to watch the 1st episode of 'Homeland' which was very good can't wait to see the rest of it, then to bed not sure on the time.
