On Sunday 12th August was Emily's last full day in Sydney. So what to unfortunately the weather still was not the best. So we decided against going into the city and went to Rhodes to get some munchies for later. Me and Emily shared a Red Velvet cake which I have never had prior to this one. It is a 3 layer which is red with cream icing. It is is a well known cake in America, but why make something chocolate red!! Since I have now discovered the red velvet I think I will quite gladly have another piece. It also comes in cupcakes and is nice as not as rich as chocolate cake.
For rest of day just chilled and I went back to Rhodes later to speak to mum and dad. Just to really clarify what to do about flights. Told me to just for the cheapest ones and doesn't matter what time I get in. So I will now have to book this week coming as I keep putting it off. But first I need to see if I can get the Friday 9th November of work aswell.
At night wehad a take-away pizza only got 2 which was plenty with garlic bread and coke. Then it was time to watch more Olympics but unfortuantely the reception was bad. Also got to eat our munchies but had obviously bought too much again. Luckily there was plenty of things to watch actually there was too much choice. As was new Alice in Wonderland, Avatar and the killers. We finally settled on watching 'The Killers' which I have seen before but is good is an American romantic comedy.
