Max Brenner & cinema

Sunday 19th August and unfortunately after 2nd did not sleep well. Got to bed again at 8.30 but woke up at 10.45 and tried to go back to sleep with no success. Tried for a hour so eventually at 12 I gave up and went for breakfast, everyone else already up but still in Pyjamas.
After we were all ready we went into the city to go the Max Brenner restaurant. I wore my white company maxi dress which mum had bought in the sale for me (with my money) and sent over. It was the first time I had worn and it felt lovely very comfortable glad I now have 2 in different colours may I add. At Max Brenner we all ordered something different so could try most things. I had a tutti frutti waffle which was waffle with banana, strawberries, ice-cream and chocolate sauce. I preferred the strawberries with the waffle, whilst Bianca preferred the banana. Had a latte instead of hot chocolate as maybe too sweet otherwise. Bianca had choc-banana pizza and Sarah banana crepe. All of it was very nice I actually think I might prefer Max Brenner to Lindt cafe. As I think Max Brenner offers more choice of sweets than Lindt.
After Max Brenner we went to the cinema to see 'The Sapphires'. Is an Australian comedy/drama film based on true story in the 1960's. Four young, talented Australian Aboriginal girls learn about love, friendship and war when their all girl group The Sapphires entertain the US troops in Vietnam. It was very good and I even had a tear in my eye near the end of the film. I would highly recommended for just about anyone. Non-Australians like myself were introduced to a little of Aboriginal culture and their struggle for equality, as well as a ripper movie that's fun and funny. First and foremost, it's important to say that this is a drama, and the comedy and music are secondary. Which is good as you wanted to hear about the story and not for it to be turned into a musical.
