Days off, Pedicure and 1 shift

Thursday 3rd October after my night shift woke up 12ish to a loud noise got up and realised was just raining back to sleep til about 1.30. Got up chilled updated blog then met Jen at Rhodes just after 3 for coffee and catch up. Was nice to have catch up ended up telling her about Tiago only because she admen if I was seeing anyone, so thought best tell her. Home 4.30 watch TV and update blog some more and Vanessa got home after 6. Then we went to Burwood as hardly feel like I have seen her since moved in so thought be nice to do something together. For some reason thought we would get the train but Vanessa drove which was even better as took half the time. So was nice to have a chat and get to know each other a better since not really seen much of each other since moved. Walked past shops but then went for food in the food court but then what to have decided on Thai so went to sweet basil. Thought I would try something different so had a laska, which is a coconut curry broth with noddles and chicken. Was nice but very messy also had a slight kick to it so at one point I had tears rolling down my face but would have again. Then to look in Jeans West as had seen a dress I liked a few times and luckily had in my size, so bought it and had 25% off even better. Tiago then texted wanting to meet up but then realised he couldn't as had no car so hopefully meet tomorrow instead. Got back 9ish and spoke to Debbie on Skype to try help het with Australia bank but her SIM wouldn't fit in my phone, so will have to send. Whilst talking to Debbie had the sparkling wine which was opened last week luckily it still had the sparkle. I must off been more tired than I realised as didn't end up finishing glass and fell asleep on bed 11.30 without even brushing teeth etc. Woke up 6ish and went back to sleep til just before 8. Tempted to go for run but never happened instead hoovered as felt needed it and go for my deluxe pedicure at 10am which Sharon, Ben and Ellie got me. Was just at Rhodes shopping centre next to Coles was so many colours to choose from eventually decided on a blue one. Got a little pedicure aswell and got to relax the massage chair very relaxing was their for 30minutes but found staff rude as speaking in their own language. Then to Post Office to post Debbie's SIM card and to Coles to get stuff for tea, pottered for abit then go to city got there 1.30. Have a look round shops ended up getting some esprit cropped jeans which were a perfect fit and saw top but not my size. Went to a Peter Alexander where got 20% off if but 2 items tempted to get Mr Men pyjamas as were very cool. It was then to David Jobed as really want red dress but never found one and top I liked did not have in my size. By 4ish realised feeling a little hungry and not had lunch so had carrot and orange with banana bread. Caught train 4.30 and once back go for run did 4.14 miles non stop but stopped abit early as had a stitch. Shower then have tea and Tiago texted so meeting up later off to Burwood now, whilst waiting read some more of my book. Tiago eventually arrived just before 9ish and I assumed was off out in Burwood but actually going to one of his friends houses. When got there his brother and wife already there and the persons house we were at was his sister in laws brother Mauro and wife Monica . Was some food just antipasto but not really hungry but we ended up looking at their pictures from recent holiday in Europe. Some of the places I recognised like Rome and Barcelona from when I worked on the ship which was nice. It was then pudding which I could fit Nutella crepe and gelatissimo was nice, left 11ish as think Tiago getting bored looking at pictures. On way home was going to get some wine but unfortunately no way open luckily I had some in so watched TV for abit then bed. Once home Mauro phoned Tiago to say he and Monica had recognised me then realised looked after Monica's grandad on my ward, what a small world. Didn't sleep the best think must of woke up about 3 times and Tiago left 8.30 as off viewing places to find somewhere new to live. I was going to get up the same and go for a run or go to spinning but never happened instead I went back to sleep til 10.30. Then to decide what to take away for the night in the hunter valley tomorrow as not sure on weather so ended up packing new ripcurl suitcase. Rest of morning just chilled watching TV and updating blog a little. Was a shame to go to work as was a nice day but had a nice shift only open to 18 patients and had 7 staff. So thought someone would get moved but no one did as supposedly quiet everywhere else aswell. But we only had 16 patients  had time to sit down and helped others with their elearning there ordered take-away but had already bought food in. Got to watch the navy fleet fireworks from hospital window with prince Harry present which looked very, picture doesn't really show it. Finished on time and Michelle gave me lift so give her cot and highchair back but couldn't get highchair down at 1st if anyone had been watching oukd be laughing. Then spoke to mum and on Skype and Ellie woke up as Sharon and Ben had gone shopping so left Ellie there after swimming. Spoke for 30 minutes then line went dead bad connection but reconnected and spok for further 30 minutes looks like will be sorting out Melbourne this week. Whilst waiting for Tiago to arrive decided would order the mr men Peter Alexander pyjamas as were very cool. Was beginning to think Tiago had got lost as seemed to be gas and eventually got to mine 1ish and was nearly falling asleep reading book.
