Meeting friends and abit of English

Once finished speaking to mum and dad on Skype on Sunday 13th October I had an rest for about an hour then Tiago came round 10ish. For first 2 hours just laid in bed and I kept nodding off then Tiago had to move car at 12 as only had 2 hour parking. Came back aim was to go to the beach but never happened and then he had to move car again at 2. Then thought best get moving was going to get so ething eat but Vanessa offered to cook so watch episode of 'Homeland'. Vanessa made pasta bake and appetiser of zucchini, mushroom and tomato was all very nice but said not her best. Afterwards me and Tiago went to Coles to get some more tawny wine, crackers and olive dip. Once back finish watching Grand Prix as foolishly told Tiago was on and he loves watching it. We then had our crackers, dip, rest of cheese from a Hunter Valley and tawny wine. Then tried to watch another episode of 'Homeland' but I kept nodding off and eventually went to bed at 9. Tiago's aim was to only come to bed for few hours then go home but ended up falling asleep so left in morning at 5.30. After he left I went back to sleep til 9 got up have breakfast then went for run at 10.30 did 2.17 miles. Once back doing washing then time to get ready to go out as meeting Kat for lunch in Newtown. Had a feeling might miss train but actually made it with a few minutes to spare. As soon as got off train in Newtown met Kat and we had a wander down the street then went for food at fringe cafe. Fringe cafe is set back from the main road with a relaxed feel and a range of food had pesto chicken with halloumi was good. Looked some more round shops afterwards found a nice poster/picture shop so much choice, Kat bought a picture. Kat ended up leaving at 2.30 as had to move car but I continued to look round shops as has a few unique shops which caters for everyone. Eventually found some Union Jack cushions which been looking ages for and a Union Jack mini car moneybox. I then continued to look round shops as is a few different ones found some Union Jack trunks, but will have to have a think. It was then back to the 1st shop where I got a London magazine holder and a few Xmas presents. Ended up getting home at 5.10 so didn't have enough time to go to the spinning class. Once Vanessa back went to see 'Gravity' is a tense sci-fi thriller based around 2 characters in the realms of deep space. Really enjoyed not what I expected and makes you think about what space would be like and the power of the survival instinct. Once back Vanessa made us bruschetta then watched TV for abit and went to bed 11ish. Didn't sleep the best woke up 4ish but luckily I went back to sleep til 9. Thought would go for a run but not sure where time went to, so went to Rhodes to collect parcel my suncream and get things from Coles. Catch train at 11.22 to Central then get bus to Coogee, whilst waiting for Lou sat on step and read book only had to wait a few minutes. Decided would walk the Coogee walk and go to a different beach instead of Coogee for a change. Was a nice walk ended up at Bronte beach which was not too busy but was abit of a breeze think only there 2 hours. Even got to see a Bondi lifeguard rescue whilst catching a few rays ver exciting and was nice to watch all the surfers. About 3.30ish left beach to go get drink was abit breezy so had a hot chocolate and sat on grass to have it. Then walked back to Coogee had a nice day catching up with Lou but just a shame wasn't that hot. Ended up catching bus back about 5.30ish was hoping shops would still be open in city but unfortunately not. So instead I will just have to come back on Thursday but went to Woolworths as realised forgot bananas. Got back after 7 made tea bolognese with gnocchi was nice then just chilled at 9ish feeling tired had shower then bed.
