Just two nights and chiropractor

First of two nights starting 26th November and still open to 30 patients with 3 staff and 2 extra one specialising and one floating so had 10 patients each. I luckily had the easier side with regard to what my patients needed but did have a few all cares. When I went for at 3ish phoned mum and could hear Ellie in background not wanting to go sleep and told me Nanna definitely go in next week. Rest of shift not too bad but 5ish felt tired but got up and started doing was fine had patient short of breath in morning. Finish at 7.30 walk home as soon as got home could hear he workmen outside after shower go to sleep 8.30 as thought might struggle with noise. Woke up 11ish got up to go to toilet then luckily back to sleep til 3 got up breakfast and watch TV. Then got train at 3.30 to Burwood to go see chiropractor and starting to have doubts if really worth it. Think will try it one more time and if still no benefit then think will stop going so booked to go next week again. Thought whilst in Burwood would go look round shops look round kmart and got a few secret Santa ideas, but didn't buy anything. Once back at Rhodes really fancied sausage roll to take to work but couldn't find so went to Coles and got cheese straws instead. When got home had good news have been approved annual leave from 13th January for a week so get tine to spend with parents. Had leftover food from yesterday then watch more TV, update blog and phone mum 7ish to tell her good news about holiday. At work had extra staff from ICU as very quiet only got 4 patients also didn't need special anymore. So I ended up looking after 7 patients the same as last night with a few new ones which was ok. Was nice shift I had a few patients with pain but apart from that all well. But the staff who came from ICU had MET call in morning as low blood pressure, high temperature and respiratory rate. So I ended up looking after her patients whilst she was in with MET call, also had the annoying Dr who calls me 'English' must not know my name. Applied for extra leave and told before leave work can have so now off 6-20th January which means get some time with Tiago aswell. Left 7.30 and phone mum to tell her had better new that got more holiday to spend with them whilst here. Mum also told me about getting Nanna organised for next week by getting her moved into the bungalow. Once home, shower bed but not really tired do check emails and sleep after 8.30.
