Night out and short shifts

When woke up after nights thought was later than it was but actually only 10.30 but still got up. Once up have cup of tea as didn't fancy any breakfast then watch 'Suits' 2 episodes. Then thought best do something so went to Rhodes first to Coles to get some bananas then to collect parcels was my calendars and picture for Tiago. Home get changed and go to city got there 3.39 straight to Myer to the Benefit brow bar. As when I looked at my eyebrows this morning definitely needed doing and luckily didn't have to wait long and made me laugh re-applied make up after. Quickly look in Ripcurl after but still not got the shirts I want to get for Xmas presents. Then walk down to Darling Harbour had a little look round shops whilst wait for Lou but didn't buy anything but found more shirts for Dad. Meet Lou at 4.45 outside Harbourside had a wander to decide where to eat but everywhere looked quiet. Ended up going to Cyren a bar, grill, seafood place which is perfect location for a relaxing meal or drinks. Had happy hour 3 til 6 so cocktails only $10 so had a strawberry caipiroska which is wyborowa vodka, strawberry mixed with muddled lines and sugar very nice brazilian drink. It was then to have decided to just have bar food a steak sandwich with another cocktail. Then to meet Lou's old friend 'Baggio' who she met when travelling 10years ago in Australia and was here to watch ashes at Brisbane. Met at scruffy Murphy's aim was to only meet for one or two drinks also decided to stck to vodka but no apple juice so had to have cranberry. Aim was to go see Tiago afterwards but am not sure where the time went to and lost count how many drinks had. But was a fun night so when left was too late to go see Tiago so got train home and got in 11ish then straight to bed. Woke up 8.30 had breakfast then watch morning show and episode of suits. Supposed to be doing abseiling today but was cancelled again due to weather for the 2nd time. Was tempted to go for a run/gym but raining and feeling tired so laid on sofa and fell asleep for an hour. Got up had lunch as still raining so watched further 2 episodes of suits. I then thought best do something so went for run did 3.02 miles luckily mainly stayed dry just a little sprinkle. Home shower then go to Rhodes centre as needed to get cards and wrapping paper. I also had to have a look for Nat's presents in South Africa managed to get her playsuit for birthday and bracelet for Christmas. Then go to Coles to get a few things for tea home first get Xmas tree and decorations out off storage unit. It was then to make tea bolognese watch neighbours and wait for Tiago before finish dinner. Tiago arrived just after 8 have dinner bolognese and gnocchi was ok but not my rest and Tiago bought red wine McGuigan was nice. Then go to cinema to watch 'Hunger Games : Catching Fire' was better than I expected and think actually preferred than 1st one. Is a thoroughly compelling second installment can't wait to see the 3rd one. Didn't finish til midnight hone have more wine then bed, Vanessa watching 1st part tempted to watch but decided against it. Not sure what time went to sleep woke up 9ish then went back to sleep then cuddled for abit eventually got up 12. Was no point having breakfast so just went to Lily's for lunch just had a sandwich and had a little walk. Then once home lay on sofa unfortunately nothing on TV then Tiago dropped me off at work as starting at 3.30. Luckily was floating at work had quick handover and mainly helped on B side as in charge helped A side. Had a few palliative patients, blood products and did S8/4 drug round which took nearly an hour at 8pm. Was nice shift finish just after 10 and phone mum on way phone to see if Nanna doing hip exercises supposedly too painful. Once home not tired but straight to bed, as at work in morning so sleep after 11 and woke up 5.30ish. Read emails for abit then thought best get up make smoothie and go to work and lift not working so had to walk up stairs. Only open to 24 patients but 5 empty beds so nice shift had staff from ICU who came to help me. By 11.30 all writing off notes done and updated handover so just chilled then gave Julie in charge quick handover and finish at 1. Walk home do washing, talk to Vanessa, shower and go meet Tiago. Got to Tiago's place at 3.30ish and there were busy preparing fish for BBQ then we had to go to Coles for olive oil. Once back was going to watch episode of 'Homeland' but then Tiago took rubbish out and took forever as ended up cleaning mail box as rubbish in it. By the time he was back the BBQ was nearly ready had salmon, rice and salad nice to have fish BBQ for a change. There then did BBQ banana with ice-cream was ok but abit soft also supposedly better with sugar and cinnamon. We then had some tawny wine a few others tried but not keen then me and Tiago laid on bed and had a heart to heart was nice to get to know each other more. At 9ish the rest of the food was ready a whole barramundi on the BBQ which was very nice. Whilst we were I. The room their had been busy and put the Xmas lights up along the balcony which looked very pretty. Everyone left 10ish and we went to bed but I didn't sleep the best woke up with backache but went back to sleep after a while.
