Another day off today Friday 17th January and up 8 to go the gym which was quite busy so went on rower and cross trainer whilst waiting for treadmill did 1.15miles. Then afters me and Debbie went to coffee club at rhodes for breakfast decided to try the pancakes for a change and asked for it without ice-cream as didn't really fancy it ice-cream at this time in morning. But unfortunately it wasn't the best was abit dry even though had maple syrup could of done with more syrup wont be rushing back for another one. By the time we got back Bianca was just getting up then it was time to head to the city as off to meet Sarah at circular quay and doing the thunder jet. First stop was ice-cream but didn't really fancy any since off on the ride shortly and wasn't sure what to expect. We tried to persuade Sarah to do thunder jet but with no success so just looks like us 3 doing it but at least had someone to look after our bags, i phoned to book place on the 3pm ride but didn't have our names but luckily had space. So it was off to experience what Sydney Harbour Jet Boating is all about and we got prime seat right at the front decided against wearing ponchos as thought that hot would just get sweaty. We hopped on to Sydney's Thunder jet, which had 23 seats plus one for driver and it does full 300 degree spins! Then time to get ready to hold on tight in our custom bucket seats as the Thunder jet heads up Sydney Harbour!! The 'Thunder Jet' Sydney Jet Boat Ride takes you past the Opera House, Harbour Islands (Clark & Shark), and the exclusive suburbs of Rose Bay, Watson's Bay. Then onto Sydney Heads for a taste of ocean air! On return we go past Taronga Zoo and under the Harbour Bridge, by Luna Park Sydney. Since we were at the front of the boat we got very wet as does power brakes where the water comes over the top of the boat and soaks you. It was lots of fun doing slides, twists, spins and wild wave riding to the awesome all Aussie music soundtrack!
When got out felt like a down wet but at least was a hot day was 45 degrees so could dry off but decided to get bus to Surreyhills since so hot. As me and Debbie off to have our hair done at Christopher Hanna which is Sydney's ultimate hairdressers base in surreyhills. As we bought a voucher in the city for $45 before Christmas to have hair cut, colour and treatment. When got they wasnt sure their knew we were Coming as seemed to be waiting a while, But was fine. Wasn't really sure what to expect their decided to do a semi permanent colour of chocolate brown which wasn't sure of to start off with as fancied something different. But once my hair was finished it looked very nice and liked the colour felt nice and soft since done treatment then curled just a shame not off out. Debbie decided to have a graduated bob with highlights looked very nice so she went for more off a drastic change. We were their nearly 2 and half hours mine probably only took just over an hour but Debbie's took longer since having highlights. When finished we had to pay an extra $80 but then get two more voucher to use at discount so was good value. Sarah and Bianca then came back to meet us and was straight to pub to get something to eat just had a burger. But whilst sat outside was starting to get windy so was extreme weather today as had 45.8 degrees at 3pm hottest day since 1939 then bizarre warm rain and strong winds.we then got the bus back to central and train back home got in just after 10pm.
