Manly

Manly today Sunday 16th December considering didn't get in til 1.30, we were all up for 9.30 to go to the beach. Had to get bus to Strathfield again but then at least we could catch train to Circular Quay for ferry. By time got to Circular Quay just missed ferry as people in front of us taking so long to get tickets than we missed by a minute. So went to get milkshake from Baskin Robbin as never had before and told are nice, I had love portion milkshake. Which was white chocolate and raspberry ice cream swirled with raspberry ribbon and loaded with raspberry filled chocolate hearts and chocolate chips, was good... We then nearly missed the next ferry as took so long to get our milkshake but made it time and was very busy so had to sit inside. But I did go outside to get a few pictures as taking in black and white for a change as thought bridge and opera house looks nicer like that. Once at Manly quick look round market then food our usual fish and chip shop but this time had crab sticks, chips and potato scallops. The potato scallop supposedly originates from England but never had at home, is thick slice of potato, dipped in batter and fried. People get confused for hash browns but is not the same was not that keen so fed to seagulls but crabs sticks were ok. It was then time to hit the beach was only on beach for about a hour and half and the sun kept going in and out, think I may of had a little cat nap. Then back to market where got Jen's Christmas present just a little something and saw a nice kaftan very tempted but resisted. So instead looked in surf shops and bought another bikini and 2tops as there were in the sale after all. Got ice-cream before getting on ferry and this time took more pictures but tried sepia this time, think still prefer black and white. When got back to Strathfield to wait for the bus seemed to take forever and sure a long queue luckily got on bus when arrive. When back home order pizza, have shower then pizza arrive and watch casino royale which has to be one off my favourite bond films.
