Works Christmas meal, work and rocks bizarre

Tuesday 11th December and spoke to mum and dad this morning on Skype and as so good not to have to go to Rhodes to speak to them, even got to speak to them whilst still in bed. I then went for a run near Olympic park which I knew we were close but that close only ran 1.26miles, but at least found good place to go running now. It was then time to update my blog at last as cant believe how far behind I am in it and the the Air-con man came and sorted out the air-con in Bianca's room, so at least will have somewhere to cool off. It was then time to go to work and was very busy so glad now on A side for a change as B side a lot busier. When got home had my 1st Christmas card from Emily in USA was very nice.
Wednesday went to Rhodes with Debbie this morning to collect my parcel was only a new iPhone charger. I then tried to find Christmas tree with no success thought I had found one as Target had a box on shelf but when asked no tree to go inside, how silly!! When got back went for a run same place as yesterday and did 1.52 miles this time, so abit better than yesterday. Work was ok did not seem as busy as yesterday but probably helps as know the patients slightly better than I did yesterday.
Thursday on a early was a nice shift probably helped as 3RN's our side and actually finished everything by 3 which is a novelty doesn't happen much apart from weekends. When got hone maintenance man came to look at what needed doing but was late was suppose to be there 4 and phoned him. We realised the extractor fan works we were trying to turn knob which don't do just pull out, how funny trust us but will come back Saturday to do jobs. At night off for works Christmas do at Spago restaurant in Beverly Hills which offers Italian cuisine with a modern Australian twist. Michelle kindly picked me to take me and thought were going to be last there but was fine was 24 off us so good turn out. Was set menu we had 3 courses with coffee and tea for $38 to start with had mushrooms and halloumi cheese, very nice see picture. To follow had lobster risotto with crab meat, scallops and king prawns would of preferred more prawns only got 4 but was too much couldn't eat it all. I then had tiramisu which was abit to much coffee for my liking and latte to finish off with was good night but everyone sat in their own groups some people don't think spoke to, got in about 22.30.
Friday on another early had someone off sck but was nice as had one our old NG come from Emergency Department. The shift was actually ok and got out a few minutes early which was nice for a change and good as off to Burwood after work. So me, Debbie and Bianca walked to Rhodes station and Jen running behind so drove to ours and getting train from concord then all met at Burwood. Which was my first time to go to Burwood shopping and went to the Westfield shopping centre and lots of shops to choose from. First stop shoe shop and was some shoes what I liked but not in my size but everyone else got a new pair of shoes. Next Debbie and Bianca had to go off on own to get my present so me and Jen went to Kmart where I eventually found my Christmas tree and got some clothes aswell just a black skirt and vest top. We then all met again at food court for food as probably wouldn't have to tie to cook when get in as off to Rocks Bizarre. On way out popped into shop as Bianca saw yellow bag to match her shoes and somehow managed to drop her nail vanish on fall went every way, so got bag and then had to get new nail vanish. So back home quick change then off to enter the strange world of The Rocks Village Bizarre where meet peculiar performers, is a fun spontaneous night out as never know what round corner. As soon as get there can smell all the nice food and when go round corner is stalls selling clothes and go abit further to see the Bollywood dancers. It was then time to have a little boogie at the silent disco (see picture) where put on headphones and have choice of two types of music, was funny to see some dancing. There was then more stalls selling jewellery Bianca got new earrings and hula hoop jam which Jen and Bianca and were quite good. We never did find the White Rabbit Bar so instead we went to Lindt for pudding had a praline tart was nice as not too sweet like the chocolate one can be, then home.
